Ok a blowout game isnt going to get much more obvious than this Bill. Down 35-0 two quarters to go. zero chance of winning, so what do we do? Ya lets keep Bledsoe in so he can get blitzed every single play. Very smart move Bill, I knew that he was stubborn, I just never knew how extremely stubborn this guy is.
Why not give henson or romo some valuable game experience? That could have been an entire half of football for either one of these guys. The radio people were really ripping into parcells for this, and I think its just plain ridiculous. Is it really that important to Bill that he cant even pull Drew when were being demolished? I have a feeling that Bill is going to cling to Drew forever like he did with Vinny, and make us stick with Drew until he is 40+. Don't get me wrong I like Drew, but damn.

doesnt look good for Henson or Romo. if Parcells had even a grain of faith in either of these guys, I think one of them goes in, for at the least the 4th quarter. Parcells MUST get a real qb of the future.

BP was sending a message to the team yesterday. That message was "you suck are we are using the rest of this game as practice for your sorry butts"

I would have liked to see Romo or Henson too, but the way the Skins were blitzing, it would not have been a fair evaluation of either.

How are you suppose to know if " Romo" can play in real conditions if you NEVER play him??????

Being honest here. The reason our young QBs get no playing time at all, even in garbage time, is because Bill Parcells is stubborn.

This is exactly what the media wants and he is smarter than the media. In his mind they wanted Henson last year, so he gave them Henson for 1 half of football and the kid struggled.

That was all the justification he needed to do exactly the opposite of what they want.

It is much the same as the conservative play calling. The media is on him to open it up, so he's going to do the opposite. He has acquiesced to Bledsoe's wishes to open it up a couple of times with good results. Yesterday it failed. He's smarter than Bledsoe. Look for the last 2 games to be ultra conservative.

And sending him out there to get slaughtered would have proved what?

We don't need a "fair" evaluation as much as we need for them to face live fire.

look for us to go 1-1 at best. If we don't draft a young QB this year, I am going to lose it.

Are you saying we can't afford to lose Romo but we can afford to lose Bledsoe?

The media has been calling for UFA Tony Romo to get in there and take over?

and leaving our old vet out there to get killed proves what? At least romo would have taken the blows instead of our real QB and Romo would have at least gotten some experience.

no actually last year, everyone and their mother was calling for Henson to get playing time, dont you remember? Parcells gave us what we wanted, and used the first half as an excuse never to play Henson again.

Are you telling me there haven't been questions in the PCs about getting him some PT?

I'm saying that thinking we were going to get any serious evaluation of Romo and what he can or can't do in those conditions is silly. He has zero NFL snaps, throwing him in front of a stampede isn't going to give him anything resembling valuable experience, nor give us any better idea what he can do, other than see if he can take a hit like Patrick Ramsey.

You have a valid point on the injury side, but its not a situation IMO where we or Tony were going to take anything positive away from it.

Are you telling me Bill didn't put him in because a some reporters asked about him? Do you really think he's worried about a QB controversy with Romo?

Which of course had nothing to do with the fact that Henson looked completely unprepared to lead an NFL football team, right?

Either way, I think the situation is apples and oranges - nobody has been calling for Romo to get into the game like Henson last year.
