Why didnt the cowboys sign juilus jones?

JuJo had somehow lost the ability to break tackles, I can't remember the last time I saw him do that. When he wasn't running up the back of one of the OL , he was either being tackled by his shoelaces or being knocked off balance and down he went.

This is what makes the best RBs in the NFL special......this is why MBIII gets great pub. When you can't do that, then you are not deserving of a bigtime contract and certainly replaceable. How ironic that the Seehags signed him when they have Alexander, who has been questioned for his desire and heart.

Pretty simple if you think about it, 3 main reasons.

1. JuJo wants to be a starter and if he returned to Dallas he was going to be a backup to Barber. We would still have a one-two punch, but it would be more like 75/25 Barber.

2. Money, $3 mill per yr is more than we would pay for a backup.

3. One of the deepest drafts for RBs.

Screw Julius Jones....just to reiterate. He's not a Cowboy any more. I hope he sucks just as hard in Seattle as he did here. Why people wish any differently is beyond me.

Because he got outplayed by his backup Pro Bowl teammate..

I don't know Julius Jones from Adam, but I betcha he was as embarrassed as hell how much he underachieved last season and is greatful for a brand new start elsewhere. Now, sure, that diminishes our rushing attack right now, but the year is young. Relax. Sit back and wait-and-see if Jones can be replaced before commiting hara-kiri.
