Why didnt the cowboys sign juilus jones?

here is a thread from a seattle board. Its kinda funny to see their perspective, its about 50/50. The highlight video shown, JJ gets all his carries from Vinny and Drew (Henson!!!), but it did show the potential he had earlier in his career. I was so exited, only to be let down.

what evidence do you have of this statement?.............in 3 years jones has had 2 good games........he spent the rest of the time bruising the backs of our offensive line by running into them..........

I couldn't agree with you more about Jones running into the backs of our OL, plus, he never seemed to show much, if any, ability to break tackles, etc..

In the beginning he looked like a bigger and just a little slower TD. In the end he just looked avg. I wish I knew what happened. I'd have gone to Dallas and fixed it if I could. I don't have a lot of emotional energy tied up in the guy.
