When I first hear that news, I was in Nantucket, Massachsuetts. My instant reaction was, WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE SUPERBOWL!!!

Signing Bosworth and tradin Lissemore makes me come out in Hives. Same old meh!!

When do we hear about a real trade or signing. Something that will help this team win games and not just stock the roster with whannabees who never have and my never.

I want a stud D-Tackle, a stud D-End and One O-Guard please. Heck, I will take one of the three.

2) there are NEVER any big trades in the NFL any more
3) there aren't any moron GM's/owners that will trade a stud-(fill in the blank) player; if there were, they wouldn't be the GM (catch-22 if you ask me)

like it or not, our 53 is pretty much set with potentially a few tweaks here and there...I think we are ready to compete if the team can stay healthy

No, we're simply getting a little something for players that we were going to cut anyway. It's not like the team is trading high draft picks for multiple 7th rounders, but at least they're getting SOMETHING for these cast-offs, which is a great improvement over the operating procedure from years past. I, for one, applaud that.
I understand that everyone, including me, would love to see some major stud player come in here to put us over the top, but it just isn't going to happen. The only reason San Fran was willing to trade Haley was because he was a mental case and they got tired of putting up with him. No other player with that level of talent is ever getting traded unless a team is willing to give up Hershel Walker trade kinds of compensation, which I know we don't want Dallas to do.
The team is building it at a steady pace, using the draft and filling in with free agents and low-level trades as necessary. It may not be as fast as we would like, but I think it's the right way to go about it to avoid a cap crisis.
