However you have to order the world in order to try and understand it. The limiting factor is you.
Your disapproval of my post is all of the validation anyone could ask for.

Sure, in Cincinnati. I believe he was cut here because it didn't work out.Pacman turned his life around starting here.
There were other headcases too like Haley, Irvin, and Lett. How about them?
I think Ro's gone and probably from football altogether....

They had strong leadership to help them focus on football.
Pacman wasn't cut. His contract expired. He had no legal trouble while here. IOW improvement started here.

On January 7, 2009, the Cowboys announced they would release Jones. According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the move came after Cowboys officials learned that Jones was a suspect in a June 2007 shooting outside a strip club in Atlanta; Jones was alleged to have ordered the shooting after a dispute with one of the men. Due to NFL rules which bar major player transactions until after the Super Bowl, the Cowboys did not officially cut ties with Jones until February 9, 2009.
He spent the next year in the CFL.
His "comeback" happened the next year in Cincinnati.
Oct. 22, 2007: Marciell Easterling, an admitted member of the Atlanta-based gang known as the International Robbing Crew, provides a lengthy statement to investigators who are trying to solve a string of Atlanta-area murders. Easterling unexpectedly mentions the Club Blaze incident on June 18, telling investigators that Jones was at Club Blaze with Easterling's fellow gang member, Edward "Slugga" Morris and other members of the IRC. Easterling says Jones asked, and agreed to pay, Morris to shoot a man Jones had exchanged words with inside the club.
Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple declined to comment on the team's decision and said owner Jerry Jones was unavailable. Coach Wade Phillips and linebacker Greg Ellis, who is the team's representative to the players' union, did not immediately return messages left by The Associated Press.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league would not comment on the ESPN report or the Cowboys' release of Jones.
"We do not comment on player transactions by our teams. And we have no other comment to offer on this matter," Aiello said Thursday.
Seriously? Our environment enables... Period. It does. & if you can't see it, I just don't know what to tell you.
and if that's good enough for him, he's even sadder than I think he is.
I would think the GM's of today' team would like to go back to the Super Bowl and have an actual plan for trying to accomplish that. I'm sure Bill Belichick is perfectly content with pass success.
I thought Jason had a RKG policy? That's a load of bull if I've ever seen one. What a joke.
We bring them into a cushy environment, gice em plenty of money, and let them do whatever the hell they want. Then everyone in the front office gets all surprised when these dudes get popped. This is getting so old. Why do we continue to draft these fringe idiots? I wish there weren't rules against it because I would cut all three right now.
This is a case of Jerry trying to hit a home run... Problem. Is he is weilding a waffle ball bat and swinging at a softball.
He thinks the lack of a big contract is worth the risk. However when you start relying on a guy to be a starter and it reflects in how you address the roster.... When that gamble does not pay off it hurts the team more than he initially thought it might.
Yeah I hear you. I was one of those that loved the value we got in him but he has to go. Get out. If they don't cut him pronto, they're proving just how little they care about winning.
Very compelling argument. I'm now convinced.
