Why do you remain a fan?

It has been super frustrating continuing to be a fan of the Cowboys with Jerry’s hard headed failure over these years and his refusal to hire a GM. The CAP has destroyed what it used to mean to be a team as we lose players we come to love on a regular basis but I suppose that is reality for all teams and fans. The Jerry fiasco and failures constantly bring about replacement coaches so what is there to love? The Jones family? The Star? The uniforms? I am not fromTexas so it’s not that.

For me I guess it is nostalgia and never end gullibility to hope for the best. I also like the cheerleaders which is what brought my young self to love the cowboys at the age of 7! Watching Roger Staubach in his prime was also a bonus.

How about you? Why do you hold on to hope and keep supporting the Jones family which is what the Cowboys really are these days.

I was born a fan and after 50 plus years, that's not going to change. If anything, I'd just stop watching the NFL which I just about have already. I don't watch much football outside of Cowboys games and now, I am more excited about the Hawkeyes WBB and the Indiana Fever more than the NFL as a whole. I won't see a Cowboys SB. I know that now and because of that, Sundays are more about friends, family, food and Harleys. If football is on TV in our house, then it's just for background noise.

I’ve been a fan since the 60s, my military years, all you could get was the Cowboys overseas. Roger Staubach, Bob Lilly. , Cowboys meant something integrity class.
I miss so many great patriot games and I live 20 minutes from Gillette Stadium, why do I say a cowboy fan? That’s a very good question.
This year I’ve been watching more of Drake and the Patriots,
Jerry has ruined his franchise
People blame Prescott and others, we’re blessed to have him without him. We wouldn’t even have any chance.

Where have all the Cowboys gone.

According to certain morons on here, I am not a fan because I am critical of the franchise....I'm only a fan because of the cheerleaders. Is anybody else?
Critiquing, nothing wrong with it
Coming in and being from another team, and being a make-believe fan, just to cause trouble,
We have many of those here.
You probably give the cheerleaders a hard time. Lol.

I've been a fan since I was 6 years old. Just one of those things you can't explain. However, Iosses don't affect my psyche like they used to do. I move on after each game and don't lose any sleep over it. Too many other thngs in life to enjoy.

I am remaining a fan to see what happens when Dak is finally gone and JJ is dead.
I don’t understand, why people despise Prescott so much, he’s about the only thing good with the franchise right now. The people not realize how bad we would be without him. He’s truly over achieved.

Definitiely make believe fans, and fans from other teams in here to just stir things up....I got nothing about our Cheerleaders to say but good things, with 3 daughters and a female wife it's a family viewing on Netflix. Can't wait for S3!
