Thats alot of hyperbole in your post IR

He said that about Garcia when he was a member of the Eagles so how was he mad about his numbers?

He didnt "destroy" 2 franchises 49ers were fine with him their lockerroom was fine

He took pills because of his coach what are you Dr Phil?

Garcia and TO were both with the 49ers in 2003. Owens made his comments after the 2003 season. At some point, Garcia was released after the 03 season but he wasn't with the Eagles when those comments were made and I'm not sure he was even released yet.

No kidding.

Every time I turn my radio on here, every segment of every show on every station is either on owens, romo or garret.

I have heard as many people say they want romo gone as owens.

I heard a guy friday call norm and say romo isnt special. Special qbs make plays on 3rd down and when the play that was called breaks down and how romo has no ability to do that.

I mean, really?

and the thing that no one wants to talk about on the radio because it is too touchy. Race. Their is a huge racial divide on this topic and race is playing a huge issue in how people are picking sides. Its pretty sad to listen to the people that call in, especially to the new station the fan. That is all they do is take calls, and man the racial lines are so obvious.

hopefully soon this will all be over, but I really am not sure it will be.

you really think that?

that is more than a bit disturbing to me if you are serious.
Absolutely, I think it. Anyone being objective in the slightest would agree. It's great that Aikman won 3 Super Bowls and he was a pretty good QB, but Romo and quite a few other current QBs are just better than he was.

Please, every other fan of every other team openly points and laughs at naive Cowboy fans who believe TO has nothing to do with the problem here. And they should. And they all sit back and smile knowing this team will always be in shambles as long as he's here.
The Cowboys were losers long before TO even came here, yet he is the reason why we are in shambles???

Sorry, but it's true.
I don't know about that...If Aikman was the QB, we go to the Superbowl easily. Romo lacks maturity as a QB and doesn't know how to get out of his own way.

saying tony romo is a better qb than aikman is a bit absurd there theogt.

sounds like your going on passing yardage to me.

leadership
managing the game
no stupid mistakes
smart decisions
laser accuracy
stepping up in the playoffs and 3 superbowls
3 rings
one of if not the best qb ratings in nfl playoff history.
nfl hall of fame qb

that's troy's resume..

tell me tony's

forgive me for rehashing something that has been stated on this site, but im just curious why so many people in the media and elsewhere scapegoat other players and give Romo a free pass.

Everyone wants to blame a WR, because he is a "diva". Big deal. All Owens wants to do is win. If the Cowboys had more players as competitive as Owens, they would be in much better shape. The guy played in the superbowl with a broken leg for chrisssake (while Romo sat out three weeks with a bad pinkie)

There is obviously plenty of blame to go around, but Romo's hully gully attitude on the field and off of it is the biggest reason for the choking down the stretch the past few seasons. Yes, I know it took some other all-star QBs time. Sure Romo can turn it around...but im talking about right now, Romo is not getting it done. The QB for the Cowboys needs to be accountable.

I dont give a crap about his season stats. His stats are better than Aikman's but Romo is not in the same league as Aikman. Romo is the anti-Aikman. Troy was an efficient machine, while Romo is hully gully. Troy was competitive and accountable, while Romo does not project such an attitude.

Like I said, Romo can turn it around, but right now he is fool's gold. The Cowboys will not win a superbowl with him as a franchise QB unless he becomes a leader.

and yes, Jason Garrett is probably one of the worst offensive coordinators in the league. He loses most chess matches that he gets in with defensive coordinators...but that doesnt excuse Romo's performance as the "franchise QB"

:laugh2: I'm not even going to respond with anything football related to this post.

My opinion is based on sheer ability.

IF our O line, playcalling(garrett), and defense would of stepped up this past year, you all would just be shutting your trap about TO and ROMO, especailly TO....it's been said countless of times, there's plenty of blame to go around, TO wasn't the problem at all....

didn't see TO calling plays
didn't see TO running the defense and missing tackles
didn't see TO making crappy kicks
didn't see TO making countless of penalties
didn't see TO miss blocks on the offenseive line

so see...there's plenty of problems on this team, and WR isn't one of them
last time I checked were stacked at receiver....this is getting very tiresome and STUPID...just drop it already.

Why couldn't he "lead" or "will" the team to a playoff victory in 1998 against Jake Plummer and the Arizona Cardinals? Why couldn't Peyton win a playoff game his first 6 seasons as a starter?

I guess the "clutch" fairy just came into Peyton's room and sprinkled "clutch" magic dust on Peyton's head one night. Just like the clutch fairy came and took Troy's clutch powers away after 1995.

I'm curious to how you know the issue is race over the radio.

Do they ask the callers for their race?

I was wondering the same thing, since when has Tony been given a free pass?
Heck Tony can't even have a relationship with a woman without many throwing their 2 cents in of why this is harming the Cowboys.
