Why does Witten fall down as soon as he's touched?

funny ive always thought that Witten always gets extra yards when tackled n almost always gets the first even when he catches the ball a yard or 2 short...

except last year against seattle :bang2:

I don't consider it opinion. Witten catch ball. Witten fall down.

For anyone to see otherwise simply must have some homer glasses on.

Don't get me wrong, I love witten, but the man goes down at pretty much all first contact. He just does. Watch the games.

I don't see it, for one thing I'm about the least likely guy to be a homer on the forum. For another thing Witten to me seems to almost always get something after his catch, even if it's just a yard. He never gets knocked backwards and is usually trying to step out of a tackle when somebody finally comes to take him down. Sure he's no Cooley, not even close. Witten's never gonna get you YAC yards that a receiver would. But if I had to pick a guy to catch a pass two yards short of the first down, I'd take my chances with Witten.
