Why don't we trade Beasley?

I don't think we should. Romo has a connection with him and that's important. I think we just have to find a way to get him active on game day.

What connection? JJT tweeted Romo's passer rating to receivers for last season and Beas was last on the team.

I am a huge Beasley fan, but I just don't get the point of carrying him on the roster if we aren't going to ever use him.

Especially now with Dunbar and Spencer and Waters being activated.

Lets either use him, or get some value for him. I think we could get a 6th rounder
Anquan Boldin was traded for a 6th.

The Cowboys are better off with Beasley than what little they would get for him in a trade.

What would we get for him? A bite size candy bar?

People complain about depth..... then when we have depth, they want to trade it away. Yep. Makes sense.

Never unreasonable to look at options but I wouldn't trade the guy unless I got a 5th or better. And no one is going to do that. We have enough low round picks stashed I believe. If I did anything I'd put someone on the team who could play some snaps during the game. And without really looking at it I'm not sure what that'd be. Right now I suspect they are looking for CB depth to sign or put on the PS. We need some CBs IMO.

WR's are about the most worthless commodity out there when it comes to trade value... Except if Jerry is salivating for them... then they're worth a whole lot. ;)

Are you kidding me......what about the great trade Jerry made for Joey Galloway and Roy Williams..... hehehhehhehe... love to play me some poker with Mr. Jerry Jones...LOL

we wouldn't get anything more than a 7th rounder for him if we could even get that... The 49ers got Anquan Boldin for a 6th round pick and you think someone is going to give up a 6th for Cole Beasley?? Beasley is a nice player but he is way over rated on this board. The best thing about Beasley is the fact that Danny Amendola and Wes Welker have been good receivers and people think he has a similar skill set to them, but does he? I haven't seen anything from him that makes me think he can be like either one of those guys. A solid slot reciever? yeah, but let's not over rate him. We might as well just keep him and see if we can turn him into a decent #3 or #4.

Who knows, that 2015 provisional 7th round pick could do some good!

I'm not kidding. Cole Beasely, at this point in his career, would bring nothing in a trade.

We need him in case of injury. Therefore his value to us is more than what we could get in a trade.
