Why has ESPN been very quiet on this?

Remember 2 years ago when TO had that hammy injury, and had to miss most of camp? Nonetheless the media went bonkers over it saying how it was "questionable" and "nothing more than mild", but Owens was faking it, being lazy, et al.

Now-Asante Samuel got what was described as a mild hamstring injury on day 2 of camp, but he's STILL yet to get back on the field. And to boot-he missed almost all of OTAs with that same injury.

Why the heck has the media been awefully quiet on this? The only thing you hear is how "Jim Johnson/Brian Dawkins praised him for asking questions in meetings and taking good notes", but that's it.

Cause no one cares about the Eagles?

but I was told by a "knowledgeable/ unbiased" writer that they had the best fans in football.

What made TOs hammy a story was Pacells being mad at "the player", he thought he should be practicing.

TO has an infectuous charisma. He is the Axl Rose of the NFL, you never know if he is gonna blow up and cause a scene or if he is just gonna chill and get along with everybody.
Welcome to the Cowboys Jungle:D

T.O. is one of the most popular players in the league. Samuel...well....Samuel who?

It had more to do with TOs falling out with the 40-whiners and the Iggles more than it did with his injury. Every media outlet was saying TO in Dallas with BP wouldn't work. They were playing off of that.

I think a better analogy would have been during that same time that TO was injured Steve Smith(Carolina) was out with a hamstring also.
And we all know Smith is no angel...but ESPN was bound and determined to try and make TO into a controversy.
ESPN today is not really sports news anymore. They are news as they see it and they show it that way. Facts are not that important when they are trying to tell a story. :espn:

Dude, like every single post you make is about the Eagles. Even for a Philly Phan... that's a tad obsessive.

I got a better question.

Who cares?

I've got an even better question.

Why hasn't Pacman been to the strip clubs yet?

T.O. was a contorversial figure, plus Parcells really added fuel to the fire by his demeanor towards "The Player". No such approach from Andy Reid towards Samuel, so no ESPN coverage.
