Why have the Cowboys stopped churning the bottom of the roster?

Seems like they have stopped trying to find "hidden gems".......

I watch the transactions pages quite a bit....and I find it curious the Cowboys have done very little when it comes to player developement. And the rest of the league fill out the waiver wire w/ claims and player movement.

It's not like we couldn't use some more Lbers or safeties or corners.

Change in philosophy? Comments.....

A) As fans we spend a lot more time thinking about the 53rd man than we probably should.

B) we have some developmental players we're looking at internally and on IR.

C) Our "end of the roster" guys are better than they have been.

D) Where we need help the most... Pass rusher.... Those guys don't become available.

They have been, but as the season wears on, you do less of it if you are in playoff contention.

Did you consider the and scouts like who they have now and are putting their energy into developing them? If you did consider that then why not mention it?

At this point of the season, you want players familiar with your system. Especially for the playoff push.

"churning" for the sake of churning really doesnt accomplish anything unless you indeed feel you are upgrading or adding players with talent and or more upside than what you have. Apparently they dont feel theres something better out that than what they have. I believe they have truly done the best they could in this department and isnt really a concern at the moment.

Correct, there is not a sense to do a lot of maneuvering this time of year if you are contending. Most moves are injuru related. We should be glad we are not active.

I would think you mean give us a look, coaches have seen him day in and day out. I have little doubt that is someone was showing enough at practice that Garrett and Marinelli would be looking to bring him up.
