I believe that BP puts the best player on the field. If JJ is the first string running back, and his success with running backs has been great, that means he thinks he is.

BP has also lauded MB, as a well coached and hard running player. But I think he believes JJ has more talent.

I don't see why there has to be a comparison. Both are quality backs who bring different running styles to the table. I said it last night - Jones is a Bentley, Barber is a Hummer.

why dont you start it off and say something about his play in last nights game instead of complain about the barber threads. If you can talk about something he did or showed others will jump on and comment.

I did like that TD he had from about 10 yards out, that was a nice run.

because JJ had 3.8 ypc and a good game but the same game he has pretty much had all year. MB had some really impressive runs and better stats then he usually does. I really liked that first down he got on the outside, it was key at the time. He comes in cold off the bench and has some great runs. JJ is going to end up with 1200-1400 yards baring injury and be the best we've had since Emmitt but MB is the best backup rb we have had since the the days we always had great back ups (newsome, springs, newhouse, etc) and that was over 20 years ago. Unless you want to count Alonzo Higsmith

We have great one two punch...both JJ and MBIII are playing well. JJ worked really hard last night and got extra yards fighting for yards. MBIII gave us a great punch at the end by hammering through his runs.

Props to both!

There really is no debate IMO about these two...NONE!

Thunder and Lightening or what ever we want to call them...they are fighting for yards with an average oline.

I've said it all year long...

MB3 is money in crunch time... Just look at how this man goes about when running the ball... He always fights for the extra yards, He never stops moving his feet.

Him and JJ are completely different. JJ is smooth but when he gets into traffic he sticks his head down and goes down. Dont get me wrong, he makes people miss badly but when it's time to go down He goes down..Marion Doesnt..That boy keeps on going and going like the energizer bunny.

I dont understand it either...he's having a great year

I guess its kinda like the RW and Ware stuff...the fickle folks here love to hate on him more than appreciate him for being a great player

If you are hinting at the fact that barber runs harder than Julius we must be watching different games. Julius runs just as hard, but not as violent. He earns just as many yards that shouldnt be there as MBIII does.
