You really need to get better sources.
I am working on it. How are things in the Great White North?

This is sort of my point. Collins visited on a Wednesday night and was signed on the dotted line by Thursday afternoon. Contact parameters obviously had been negotiated and player was ready to sign. Visit was just a formality... Things different this year
In the past, we have signed most FAs before they left the building. It was sort of Jerry's calling card, like Roach Motel, "you can check in, but you can't check out"
I am a true blue die hard Cowboys fan. But at this point and the state of the franchise I simply would not play for the Cowboys unless they threw the bank at me.
Is it just me or has this year been so weird in that we have all these FA's come in, only to leave without being signed? I understand that coaches and management need to meet the player, and have an in-person medical check, but in the past, the player did not leave the building without signing a contract. I realize we are spending less money these days on FA's, but what is the point of the visit if we've told the agent what we're willing to spend beforehand? Just for them to get a free steak and drive up interest of other teams? I guess no news is bad news on Jason Jones and Looney, like it was with Nolan Carroll, Chris Long, Leon Hall, Patrick Robinson, etc...

about the same as in the redneck south
I see. Fried steaks and kool aide. yum
just not as many guns nor obesity
Well, if we were subsisting on dried bear meat and caribou we'd be lean as well.

we haven't eaten that since Chicken George was a slave
Then I must travel to the Great White North one day. Some will try to steer me to the civilized eastern part of French Canada but, no sir, I want to travel to the western part to enjoy the rugged cuisine. Also, I have not heard from my good Canadian friend, Buster the Body Crab, for ages so i must look him up.
