I don't know why everyone is hating on Hamlin. I understand if everyone wants Watkins to be the guy, but Hamlin could end up making him a better player. Plus, Hamlin is a pretty decent safety. This deal should be done in the next 24 hours if we are going to sign him.

Go look at Vela's blog it gives Keith Davis' numbers and they were worst in the league and Hamlins were 2nd. Pat Watkins shared time with Davis and was benched at one point for Davis. Now since then Hamlins play has dropped but not to worst in the league.

Watkins may get better but lets not kid ourselves here: Patrick was awful last year overall.

See once again your fuzziness eludes you. Those numbers posted were from 2005 before he got hurt. And Vela said, that he would be a great pickup IF he can go back to that form.
