Otolaye played well in the last few weeks in 2015. And we don't know what he can do in extended time but I'd like to see. Again, Sterling Moore showed us that being ahead in the depth chart doesn't make you better in Dallas.
At the same time Sterling was still a sub package player. He didnt get as much exposure to #1's and #2s as Scandrick and Carr.
Now I understand you beliefs here. Im not a Carr fan. But at the same time he is you know what he can do VS top competition. You know what he is going to provide both good and bad on the field. Guys like Otoloye and Brown arent quite ready to be trusted in that role. One or both will likely get an oppertunity this year to really show what they can do VS NFL comp as one will be the #4 CB. The #4 CB gets a fairly good amount of snaps in dime packages. Not sure what the useage stats are, but it wouldn't shock me if our #4 CB gets more snaps then our starting SAM does. Both players have a chance to really make this a real discussion next year, and possibly over the course of this season
