Why is everyone so scared of Indy?

I know they are 9-0 and we are 5-4. I say so what!! Yes they have a GREAT Offense.. We have a Good Defense.. We have a GOOD Offense.. they have an average Defense. It should be a good game,, but not one I think is a given. They haven't exactly been lighting teams up, their average margin of victory is under 7pts and that includes teams like the Titans and Texans. 7 of their 9 wins have been by a TD or less. I like our chances here guys, I really do.

I think a #6 offense against a #16 defense is a better matchup than a #2 Offense against a #3 defense.

A good defense comes to play week in week out. Our defense is Average at best...Say what you want. We give up big plays and cant put teams away.

Exactly! If we play the way we should we can beat anyone. Indy doesn't make a lot of critical mistakes so they tend to find ways to win while we seem to find ways to lose.

No turnovers and 5 or fewer penalties and we should win this game.

are you joking ?? why ?? 1-they throw the deep ball well-we dont cover it well . 2 we have no pass rush -they have an excellent pass rush (despite freenys stats) the only way we stay close is the colts run defense . other than that we dont have a shot . i love how 1 lousy win against the cards gets people nuts .......... this is not a playoff team ............... weve had 3 chances this year (big games) to show where we are as a team ... the philly,giant and the Commander game and we choked on all three .

I just don't understand this statement at all. I think some people just have this built in Haterd for Zimmer and will never give this D credit as long as he is here.

Name ONE D that hasn't given up some plays this year? The fact is simple.. we are 10 weeks into the football season and right now our D is ranked 3rd in the NFL.. that is not average. The much heralded Charger D had a 40 spot put on them... The Steeler D has given up several big games. Now you may not agree with the scheme,, I know some only count sacks as a good defense stat..but this D has been GOOD this year.

I think we win the game ... and no I don't say that every game.

I called the Jax and Eagle losses and even though I didn't predict a loss to the Commanders I did think it was going to be a nailbiter.

I think this is the game where things really start to come together for us. I also think this might be the game where we are forced to get out of our comfort zone and give some different looks to them defensively out of necessity. If that happens BP and Zimmer might learn some things about their players on that side of the ball that they didn't know before ... which would bode well for us.

Agree-

We win one game and everyone thinks we're making the Playoffs, WE lose a game and we're a horrible teamt hat should fire Zimmer and BP.


The honest truth is we are not consistant on defense and in this league that goes a long way. We're an Ok team with potential that's about it. If we beat the Colts then start talking..Right now lets stop the madness.


Disagree- I think this Team can be a playoff team if it gets it's act together on Defense and we cut the stupid Penalties.

OHH I would never take them lightly,, but not ready to roll over either. I think we match up well with them and we can win this game. It will take the best effort of the year.. but in no way am I conceding this game. We have a good team.. they just need to realize it and play to it.

And as my old coach used to say... that perfect record and 50 cents will buy you cup of coffee... It don't mean anything come sunday.. they get no points for past accomplishments.
