This is why Wade wont be here next year. He lacks BALL S! Thank you nick folk for the game at buffulo in 07 but goodbye, the cowboys cant use you anymore. We win against the chargers if he makes that FG, because we would have gone for a FG instead of forcing MB3 to run on 4th down on the one yard line. No confidence in folk anymore, we have to force it on 4th instead of giving beuhler a shot?

Why is he still here!!!!!! Jimmy johnson would have his arse.

I wouldn't cut Folk yet but I would be using Beeler for FGs & XPs for the rest of the season.

Rouch, can you explain why he was money in the bank for two years and now can't hit the side of the barn?

I wish someone could post some of his kicks when he could not miss vs what is going on now. He appears to be off balance when he strikes the ball. A lot of body lean. His foot work does not look correct from what limited view I get from watching the games. I used to kick a little and would love to see some side by side comparisons.

Jerry, give me a call and I will get Folk straightened out.

1. Because there's no better option out there, especially with a short work week. To paraphrase Parcells, there's no 1-800-Kickers to call.

2. Folk is clearly in a slump. That doesn't mean he won't snap out of it. He's proven his quality, so it might be better to let him work his way back.

3. Jimmy cut expendables. Folk may not be in that category.

This isn't Madden. NFL-quality talent is hard to find.

Do you or anyone else have any idea what exactly was done during the surgery in the off season? I wonder if he lost some power and is over compensating. Someone used the golf analogy last week and that could definitely be the case.

I still don't think you cut him. I think you shut him down for the rest of this year and see if he can get healthy and comeback and win the job again next offseason but I don't believe the answer is to just cut him right now.

maybe cause he was a fantastic kicker for (2) years in a row, pro bowl in his 1st year.

maybe because all of us go through bad times and i hope when it's your time, your employer doesn't boot you off and not even care about why.

i'll agree he's frustrating right now, but just about everything is frustrating as well. simply put, the coaches don't "knee jerk" with millions of dollars like fans do and bluntly honest, if they did they'd be out of business in no time flat.

If I had to guess I would say Folk will be inactive this week and Buehler will handle all kicking duties.

Because NFL teams cannot make decisions based on emotions.

Folk has been a good player for us until a few weeks ago.

They may very well cut him ..... but you do not make a hasty decision like that against a good player.

Jimmy cut a nobody named Curvin Richards to make a point.

Not a former probowler who a few months ago the board was calling the Iceman.

Jimmy didn't have a salary to worry about not that Folk makes a lot of money plus there isn't much to pick from in terms of free agents.

Jimmy cut a nobody named Curvin Richards.

He never once cut a young probowler.

Or Chris Boloneyhole? I never could spell his name. :laugh2:

Chris bonial actually was a better kicker than folk. I remember him going on a huge streak of not missing any FG. This was when we used to win games off of pure FGs 15 to 10 and such

I don't have time to look right now but didn't Boniol hit 7 FGs against the Packers and we won 21-something?
