So you're stomping the hell out of them, marching up and down the field and scoring on them at will, but you have to pull out some trick play from deep in the playbook to get your third (or fourth) TD against an 0-6 team?

Naw, that's more than just wanting another score.

They were up 35-7 at that point in the game so it's worse then you thought.

Look who's here sweating the Pats again for the umpteenth time.

I agree with Bellichick,

That's cuz you're a freakin' pats fan.

WHy don't you just stick to your pats boards? You come to cowboys message boards so you can actually learn something then go back there and report it?

Rack - go replay Titans game.

We throttle teams and its great news, Pats were giving Fin game away in 2nd half. Move past the cliche Pats stuff. BB made a great coaching move yesterady.

We are 6-1 and I don't post at any New England Pats message boards. Post ONE link where I have past few years. You threw out gauntlet - I'm CALLING YOU ON IT.

I really like what coach Ditka said on the subject: not verbatim but roughly -"play better defense and you won't hafta worry about what the other team is ringing up on you."

Tom Brady is having a phenomenal season and I doff my cap to the guy. But that team isn't impressing me with their ground game. So I ask myself - "Can they sustain this success if they are forced to run the ball?"...

and I can't honestly answer "yes - they can."

Things have a way of happening during the course of a season to force a high-wire team to play a more "conventional style" of football. So far the Pats have made hay slingin' the ball. So much so, that they remind me of the team they beat for their FIRST league crown - "The Greatest Show On Turf"... the St. Louis Rams.

But if the right team, with the right defensive scheme comes along, and places enough heat on Brady... and enough physical coverage on that passing attack (as the Pats did to the Rams) to force them to an honest semblence of a ground game... I think New England can be had.

But it's got to be a punishing defense.

By the way... I'll take Peyton Manning over Tom Brady - and any day, any year... including this one. Peyton's the most imposing package of cerebral, physically-talented, leader I think I've ever seen man the QB position. And, despite his demeanor and clean-cut image... he is tough as nails.

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing you've ever posted, and there have been some doozies.

How the hell would I know what username you post on at your Pats boards?

Go back to your Pats board and stay there, PatsFan.

The Colts beat you with their ability. The Pats beat you with deception and creating mismatches.

The colts line up, rarely ever shift or motion anyway. They jsut line up, and run their routes. That makes it MUCH easier on a defense to defend. No worrying about changing coverages due to motioning or shifting.

The pats line up in multiple formations, do LOTS of motioning and shifting and do whatever they can so that they can get someone WIDE OPEN on a short pass. That's the easiest thing to do for a QB, throw a short pass to a wide open WR. They did it to us all day long. Brady is good, but Manning is better. Brady just happens to play in a more QB friendly SYSTEM.

Agreed. The Colts can, and will, run the ball on any team. And when it gets to be November the Pats will prolly rediscover that fact - the hard way. And rediscover it AGAIN in January.

I never much cared for pass-oriented teams' odds in the post-season. And I've rarely been let down by this prejudice.

Playoff teams... the ones that make deep runs... have routinely demonstrated the ability to grind it out on the ground. The ball gets heavier in late-December, the hands number, and the sting of the safety's hits seem to linger.

I really gotta like Indy as this thing plays out.

like in college.I mean they were up by 21 in 4th quarter versus the dolphins.he did it against us too, everyone knows they are god, whats the point?I will say this in every sport there is one team that just matches up well with the king ,like golden state and the mavs last year,i knew it wasnt good when they had to play them.there is one team that will match up so well against them,im thinking its the broncos because of the best secondary in football.

I have no issue with how they run there team. I would not do it but hey the Pats owe nothing to any team out there and right now they are trying to prove a point which is you claim we are cheaters but we can kick the snot out of you on the up and up.
