Why is there a huge stage platform at Texas Stadium?

Is NBC throwing a party? I went to the 3A State Championship game at Texas Stadium yesterday (Congrats Prosper Eagles!) and in the parking lot there is stage platform out there like someone will be performing. One thing is for sure, all eyes around the world will be on us tonite. Hopefully our guys, despite all the ongoings this week, can block it out and give us a show.



On a side note, I state beside this old guy who has had two seats at the stadium for 30 years. He said Jerry wants 16K a piece for both at the new stadium. Sad....he said he'll be watching from his living room next year.

Dont know about the stage. But I'll be going there next week for the other side of 3A State Championship game (Divison 2). Carthage has been rolling this year and we'll be going up against Celina.
