One doesn't become an old wildcatter by being a dejected dry holer. You get to be an old wildcatter by avoiding dry holes. More to the point, even dry holers have hubris. They just don't become old wildcatters. The famous wildcatter, Tom Slick, was full of hubris even when he was referred to as Dry Hole Slick.
COPY! & Hey man, what's the word on Tom Slick's brother Dick? Did he ever address that dreadful social disease he'd contracted while drilling dry holes down in Latin America?o_O

I don't like the Peyton idea as HC.

Maybe in a few years he would be a good GM for Stephen.

Everybody loves SP for some reason but he's never worked as HC without Brees.

Who knows if his magic or voodoo will translate to another lesser talented QB.

Then there is that bounty suspension thing.

All of this may be true, but hes a hell of a lot better coach than Opie
