Why no movement on the special teams coach?

I thought our special teams, outside of Folk (even McBriar had a down year even though he was still good) were awful last year. I know I'm not some genius to say that as others have pointed this shortcoming out.... So why don't we hear anything about movement on the special teams coach?


Seems like something critical that no one is complaining about.
(if we already did something with the coach, apologies)

There have been a ton of threads and a ton of posts within threads complaining about special teams.

I think it's players more than the coach itself.

The real obvious answer is Wade said he would quit before he would fire his special teams coach ... and Garrett is encouraging him to maintain that stance.

I must admit I'm a bit worried about special teams. We will probably be loosing one of our better player Killer (aka Bullet Magnet) Davis.

I'm more concerned with the couverage aspect, but man it would be nice to have a top notch KR man as well. Austin isn't so bad, but he really doesn't make people miss per say...he just can fly to the hole.

We wasted a 4th round pick on a KR man a few years back (Skylar), wonder if we can use a 5, 6, or 7 on one this year. Anyone know of some decent burners that might be available then?

Special teams is so freaken important, at least we do have a money Punter, and a darn fine Kicker. Really can make a huge difference in a game.

I do recall seeing them during the season (the posts) but have not seen them recently. I thought it would be a offseason hot topic.

I think under Parcells some of our starters played on ST. Inclined to think that Wade changed that formula and fewer, if any, starters play on STs. But I do agree something needs to be done.
