I dont' think the Cardinals really 'stopped' us.

I dont' think the Cardinals really 'stopped' us.

Mmmmm stats yum yum.Daks 3rd in the NFL in passing.
I wonder when we are talking about Thomas stepping in for Steele if we should be playing Thomas on the left side and moving Guyton to the right. It's not just that it might be better for Guyton, but Thomas played better on the left side than he did on the right.I haven't looked at it closely, but it seems like the offense overall was better with the replacement offensive line players. I have said MANY times since he was drafted that I see nothing in Guyton that suggests he's a good left tackle. They should have benched him last year and started someone else this season.
what does this mean? It makes no sense.Dak needs everything to be humming in harmony to play to his potential. When it's not he's above-average at best.
exactly. I said the same last year. the guy started 8 games in college and that was at RT.....I haven't looked at it closely, but it seems like the offense overall was better with the replacement offensive line players. I don't think it was all them....unless you want to give them credit for the fumbles...I think they played well, we made a lot of mental mistakes...too many to overcome the mistakes. that includes the coach, who should have kicked a field goal when on the 4 instead of going for it, knowing how bad the defense is.Take off the Rose colored glasses!
They stopped us and slowed us down on offense.
Our offense was pathetic vs the Cardinals and Panthers.
Our OT’s are WAY below average!!!!!

The guy in KC doesn't, nor does the guy in Buffalo, who hasn't been given half of what he needsAll QB’s do![]()
The key will be to see the overall comparisons over the next 4 games. The last 2 games, neither Dak nor the team has been goodhttps://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2025/passing.htm
It is true Dak Prescott is third in Quarterback Rating (QBR) at 74.3, only behind Sam Darnold (77.7) and Patrick Mahomes (74.6). Otherwise, Prescott is ranked:
All very good-to-good numbers except yards per completion. By comparison, QBR #1 Darnold (14.0) ranks first in the category, while QBR #2 Mahomes (11.5) ranks ninth. Some of the Y/C deficit pertains to what Bob has outlined. Some rest lies with Prescott, even with his #3 QBR.
- 8th in completion% (69.3)
- 6th in passing yards (2,319)
- t-5th in passing touchdowns (17)
- 11 in passing touchdown% (5.2)
- t-5th in interceptions (6)
- 11th in interception% (1.8)
- 6th in first downs (114)
- 20th in yards per completion (10.2)
- 7th in yards per game (257.7)
- 11th in passer rating (98.8)
I do not expect a notable uptick over the next four games, but it is worth revisiting at that time in my opinion. Just in another thread at that time, lol.The key will be to see the overall comparisons over the next 4 games. The last 2 games, neither Dak nor the team has been good
Hmm.. okay, well, I was basically saying he needs everyone on offense to do their job. Maybe not my best post of all time but that was the gist.what does this mean? It makes no sense.
Folks here always crap on positive posts. Always.https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2025/passing.htm

Yes he did, very average and our defense was below average...hard to overcome either one of those.Fantastic.
He’s also looked average against Carolina, Chicago, and Arizona.
3 teams you thought the Cowboys would whoop on.
So maybe he's not the MVP so many people were talking about.well that goes for 29 other QBs...maybe 30.
He is not MVP...but being best and being MVP are often combined as one although I dont think they are the same.So maybe he's not the MVP so many people were talking about.
