1) Atlanta has the NFL's 1st ranked rush offense, Philadelphia the league's 25th rush defense.

2) Philadelphia has the 9th ranked rush offense, Atlanta the 10th rush defense.

3) Rumors are that Jim Mora will be fired before he even gets on the team charter if they lose (seriously, it was reported today on FSR and confirmed by another source).

4) Last time Philadelphia beat Dallas, they lost 3 in a row afterwards (NO, TB, JAX).

5) Except for JAX, evert team to have beaten Dallas has suffered a loss the immediate week after.

6) This has been one of those crazy years where the underdogs keep winning.

Eesh, that's the best I can come up with. That doesn't bode well.

Anyone else have a reason why Atlanta should win this game?

That's too bad, but it sounds totally possible...

I hope that team steps up in a big way...big enough to save Mora's job, if that is even possible.

I'm pretty sure a playoff appearance would be enough to save Mora's job if he axed his offensive assistants.

What might be his final undoing though, is the Abraham signing. Abraham was supposed to make this defense a contender, and he apparently lobbied vigorously for it.

Anything's possible in the NFL, but it will be a shocker if Atl. defeats Philly. I think Philly will wear them down like they did us...Philly has the better line on both sides of the ball...it's hard to beat that unless someone on your team (Vick in this case) makes some big plays early.

With Abe you get the Pro Bowl if he's healthy.

But you also get the crepe paper abdominal walls and the hernias that come just by sneezing.

Unfortunately, the Falcons failed to realize (as I did) that the Jets did not offer a multi-year deal to JA becsue of cheapness, but because of medico reports and history.

Wasn't Kearny hurt as well this year?

Wretched luck for poor Jim Jr.

Mora messed up saying that stuff about the college job. Kidding or not no owner wants that type of stuff broadcast to millions of people.

Hmmm ...good try! Now consider this ...

If the Eagles gain 56 yards of offense, they will set the franchise record for most offensive yards in team history.

Brian Westbrook's career yards per carry average is 4.7, the largest by any running back in Eagles history.

Brian Westbrook needs 116 yards of offense to become the second running back in team history to have 2,000 yards from scrimmage. Wilbert Montgomery had 2,006 in 1979.

An Eagles win or Dallas loss would give the Eagles their fifth NFC East title in six years ...the Eagles know that!

The Falcons have the worst passing offense in the NFL, averaging 143.5 yards per game.

The Eagles are 5-0 when the defense scores.

Andy Reid's teams are 49-20 following the bye week to the end of the regular season.

The Eagles lead the NFL with 70 offensive plays of 20-or-more yards this season.

But none of that Means anything unless the Eagles want this game and play like it ...I think they will!

Anything is possible but Atlanta is going up there on a wing and a prayer without Crumpler. Vick is in for a loooooong day.

If you want the Falcons to have any chance, then you need to cheer for the Commanders and Saints, because if the Giants or Panthers win, that would eliminate the Falcons from the playoffs.

So the chances of the Falcons winning tomorrow would be better if they actually had something to play for.

It don't matter Dallas will probably come out flat and lose to Detroit anyway, I don't think the Cowboys have won a season finale in 8 or 9 years.

I really fear the above scenario. Historically the Cowboys have played like crap against Detroit, but since BP came aboard, we are 3-0 against them. So maybe we roll tomorrow. After all, we usually dominate teams with losing records. We tank against the .500 and above teams.

To be honest PT, and this is with all due respect, an Eagles team setting franchise records doesn't mean much to me. When a Cowboys team sets a franchise record over a SB team that's one thing, but setting franchise records over losing teams doesn't say much. There have of course been good Eagles teams of the past....but there's no Aikman, Staubach, Dorsett, E. Smith, etc. to break franchise records over.

That said, the Eagles will most likely win...and I can't wait for a re-re-match.

Dude Philly is going to crush the falcons....similar to what Carolina did to them last year on the final day of the season when they were already eliminated from contention as well.

Right now my darkhorse pick to win the superbowl is the Eagles...Book It and mark it down!

judging by last week i'd agree but philly has been beaten up all year along their defensive front. they get gashed most weeks. atl is the best rushing team in the league.

i like atl to win.

philly like us the previous week is playing for seeding while atl like philly the week before is playing for a playoff birth.

Atlanta has been eliminated from playoff contention after the Giants win. They will lose tomorrow, just like the Cowboys lost against the Rams last year. No incentive, no reason to try hard.
