Jerry is to old for a rebuild. That will happen when Jerry passes and Stingy Stephen takes over.

I'd like to see what MM can do with them before we dump them and start over.

because what or who are the options???
    particularly @QB??
if it ain't Tua....i'm not interested.
i'll stick with Dak and COOOOOOOOOP.
as for them not stepping up last season...they weren't alone.
2ndly.....in their careers in Dallas....they have.
    we've seen it.
only way i'd consider giving up #4 is if you guarantee me we draft Tua....the only QB in this group worth a damn in my opinion.

Look, I’m not going to beat up on this post because the poster’s moniker is the ultra douchbaggy ‘USArmyVet.”

No- I’m not calling you a douchbag for being a Vet—I’m a retired 1SG-2017/35Z BASD 13JUL97, but to post under that moniker......makes you look like a self-appreciating, bloated turd.

And not to pile on to reservists....but you probably are one. Most dudes over the top about being a vet are USAR. (I finished as an AGR). <rant over>

I understand the opinion of “why are we going to the well for ‘superstars’ who didn’t pull it out down the stretch?” In my opinion- AC disappeared a ton more than Dak, but that also may have been scheme / coaching and lack of adjustments (which the previous regime was famous for) so I’ll cut AC a pass.

As far as Dak? Yea- to go where? We have wayyyy to many good players to cut the head off right now.

Most of us agree that a coaching change might be all we need to get back into contention. We’ll see.

So, I’m short. Change the self ingratiating user name, understand where you’re coming from, too soon to pull the plug.

    thanks!

One of the best offenses we've had and some fans want to rebuild. Brilliant.

There's so much more good than bad with Dak and Coop lol rebuilding now would be pointless. The best thing about rebuilding is it can be done at literally anytime, why start when you have two top-10 players at QB&WR in their athletic prime? Because we had one 8-8 season in Dak's tenure now he's all of a sudden an 8-8 quarterback? lol JG went 8-8 many times before Dak and Coop arrived, I don't know why you're acting like Dak and Coop have been at the helm of 3+ 8-8 seasons lol. DId you forget the second half of last year?

We've seen both these guys play top level ball with low level coaching and terrible ST's. You gotta be dang near perfect to drive 75+ every time, to never have good FP, to rarely get turnovers that set up easy scoring chances.

A lot more good than bad with these two OP, if MM can't get the best out of them then sure we rebuild. But why do it so prematurely? What are the odds you get a better QB or WR anytime soon? Super low. It's not Madden, NFL franchises don't just press reset with good rosters without real reason.

I think it's one of two things:
    1. Trolling for a reaction
    2. Utter stupidity and a total lack of football knowledge

I certainly am not afraid of a partial rebuild. In many ways that's the best thing for a new coaching staff. For me it comes down to whether or not the contracts that Dak and Cooper will get will hurt the ability to build a complete roster capable of winning a superbowl. That's certainly a tough question to answer. If the deals can be structured in a way to lessen the cap hit for a year or two until the new CBA kicks in and the cap explodes, then sure, I'd like to have them both back. If their demands are unreasonable, then I'm perfectly fine seeing them sent packing. I would try and do it in a way that brings picks back in return but that's not always an option.

If you invest in all of these early round draft picks, extend the entire O line, get a RB with 4th, trade a 1st for a WR and have one of the best offenses in the NFL and you want to rebuild - you may need counseling.

Teams don't actively seek to enter into rebuilding mode. Certainly not when they actually have the players they need to compete.

This is exactly the opposite of how the ownership views the team and how they will proceed.

It would make zero sense to "start over" at this point. Special teams and defense could use some attention, but typically the Dak haters are the only ones suggesting they let him walk and start over.

And the trolls. I notice the guy who started this has no actual answers and suggestions for replacing them to support his position. But then again, the instigators never do.

For starters, it's a team sport. Secondly, a team will only perform as well as it's coached. 3rd, Coop's had problems w/Plantar Fascia since the beginning of Preseason last August. Plantar Fascia comes and goes.

In Coops case it didn't have time to HEEL w/practicing and playing each week. And therefore it flared up which was very noticeable on the field.

Prescott had several injuries as well. Two in the Bears and one in the 1st quarter of the Rams game. Two of those injuries affected his throwing side completely.

This team IS rebuilt with a lot of talent. All it needed was a decent coaching staff to bring out that talent. If your not happy w/Coop & Dak, I highly doubt you'll be happy w/Rush & Bryant. :lmao:
