He's going to be real green as a wr this year.dallas_112678;1700373 said:Ok, i dont want to sound like a total ****** here, but i havnt been paying much attention in the off season. I know stanback is a WR and everything, but whats with all the hype about him? Who is he exactly? I see so much hype about him, and i want to know why, so please fill me in.
Stanback may have been an emergency CB/DB

You're behind the rest of us about 5 weeks.ddh33;1700310 said:I'm getting really close to wanting to see Stanback or Austin returning kicks instead of Tyson.

I'm thinking injuries to so many other players allowed Phillips to activate Stanbach just so he can see up close and personal what it feels like on the sidelines in a real game, etc.
Maybe it means nothing that he was on the sidelines. But he also entirely possible his play at WR is improving to the point where we could get a chance to see him in action. I would be really surprised though if we'd bring in a young WR whose never played that position in a game to play against NE. On the other hand, if we having a good game against the Vikes next week, then it entirely possible Stanbach sees action.

He can't play against first 5 teams and he'll be ready to play Pats?
I don't buy that one.
