I thought I would start a thread about why we all love football and The Dallas Cowboys. I'm gonna try and be clear and concise.
Most of my family lives in LA county. We moved when I was younger out to the Riverside county area. Isolated from the rest of the family because it's a two hour drive for those who are unfamiliar to the area one way. The only time we would make the trip was for the holidays and birthdays. Well we all know what happens on weekends when holiday/birthday parties are usually held, Football. Being that my family is from New Mexico/Texas, you could probably take a guess on who was usually on when there was a game. Your Dallas Cowboys. Being a young kid I started to unknowingly associate a good time with the Cowboys. Something I still do to this day.
So whether we win or lose, I'm always surrounded by family and friends having a good time. Which usually includes all you guys here at Cowboyszone.

How 'bout them Cowboys!

I love football and I love the Cowboys. I admit I have a better time when we win but I enjoy watching regardless. If you can't watch football with that mentality then to each his own.

Because it is the best sport in the world, hands down. Every August, the whole country gets giddy with excitement.

Nothing else is even close.

I stopped watching baseball like 10 years ago. I've probably only watched 10 full nba games in the last 2 years. I love watching lebron play though. And i go to jazz games sometimes which is fun but we suck. I can't imagine not watching football no matter who's playing.

I love the Cowboys. As for the rest of the league could care less. I prefer the NBA to the NFL.

I think the scarcity of the product helps us all enjoy it so much. Every game is special. If they were playing 80 games a year (and somehow magically not impacting the quality of play through fatigue and injury), the games wouldn't be as much of an event as they are.
