Why were we throwing from the endzone?

The offensive line can't pass block, Julius can't pick up a blitz and we blame Bledsoe for getting sacked for a safety? We have the best punter in the NFL and we're calling pass plays from the endzone? Who the hell called that play?

Don't know and at this point I don't care.

Because when it does not work people will complain...just as people will complain if we would have just been running the ball to try to get a little room.

When it works it is brilliant when it does not it is idiotic.

I would simply guess it had something to do with the huge holes our OL open up for the running game and BP thought he could try to fool them.

Although if we had scored a TD before the half (instead of an INT) I still would of wondered why we weren't running. We run on 2nd down and if we don't get it, at least the clock moves. We run on 3rd down, same thing. Worst case scenario is we have to kick a FG, but at least we would have killed the clock and it would of been 12-10 at halftime.

Throwing was dumb in that case.

Throwing from the endzone isn't a bad thing. The Patriots do it all of the time and like to throw deep.

On the first pass, I'm pretty certain that Bledsoe threw to the wrong spot. Owens ran a slant on that play and was open. Even if Owens ran a go route, I doubt that he would've completed it since it wasn't a very good looking pass.

On the second play, that wasn't Julius' fault. He would have had to have made an incredible block to get to Arrington. Colombo was supposed to block down on Arrington and went to block Strahan instead.

What's frustrating is that the O-Line, from a physical and athletic standpoint is blocking pretty well. But they keey getting fooled on blitzes, especially delayed blitzes. It also makes me wonder why our defense almost never gets a defender unblocked.

Who could possibly watch this offense against the Giants and complain about NOT throwing from your own endzone? Amazing.:bang2:
