Of the 16 most popularly used big boards only 4 have Zeke rated in the top 5. And of those four 3rd is his highest rank. The Composite board has him 7th. Since the vast majority of these boards do not include a QB in the top five and we know QBs will most likely go 1 2 anyone is hard pressed to conclude that Zeke BPA at 4 which is now effectively 2. I'll be glad to list the big boards and their rankings any one requests them.

If you're going to make threads and claims like this...

You need to come with links or it's pointless.

The simplest answer is this, these public service draft boards are not team/scheme specific and some teams will have different values on players based on how they think they fit their specific system. Is it higher then I'd like to draft a RB? Yes. Is it too high to take a RB? Not if they are the best player on your board when you take them. The big argument against Zeke is one of opportunity cost. Zeke is probably closer in results to the RBs you can get later then someone like Ramsey, or even Bosa, is to later players.

With the Cowboys you throw all that out the window. This offensive line is taylor made for a great rushing attack. In this draft there is no better player the Cowboys could draft that will have the impact Zeke does and would be an epic disaster to pass him up.

True they are not team specific but if they are not valuable or use expert knowledge in their composition why do we put stock in them at all. These boards do use expert opinion and the consensus is Zeke is not a top five prospect.

The only part I question is Elliott not being in the top five in boards not listing the QB's there.

Check it out for yourself. The boards are as followed by Zekes rank.

When Bill Polian (the architect of the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl teams), Charley Casserly (the architect of the Washington Commanders Super Bowl teams) and Michael Irvin (Hall of Famer, legendary Cowboy and 3xSuper Bowl Champion) all say Ezekiel Elliott is a top tier player who deserves to be taken at the top of the draft, that's all the testimony I need.

Who cares what arm-chair players and arm-chair GMs say?

I won't. I'm just *****ing about everyone because I wanted a QB and I'm not going to get one. I think Zeke, Ramsey, Bosa and Buckner are all good prospects, just none will have much impact when/if Romo is not under center

Regardless of who the Cowboys pick I will 100% support that player even if I am against picking him now. Once that Star goes on the hat I am rooting for them to have a very successful career.
