Wife got me an ElevenRack guitar processor for Christmas. It's pretty damned neat. It allows me to record from my computer. I finally had a chance tonight to hook it up and get the drivers downloaded. Just finished getting it set up about 30 minutes ago and loaded up a track to record. I was too excited to properly warm up or do a dozen re-takes. I just loaded a backing track and hit record. The solos are half assed and I'm sure the levels are all wonky but I just wanted to plug in and play it. One take, mistakes and all...............

Quite a while (close to 28 years) but I haven't paid attention to my guitars in so long that it's not even funny. I think that's why my wife bought me the ElevenRack. She was sick of seeing thousands of dollars worth of guitars and amps sitting there un-used. I picked up my (electric) guitar last week for the first time in probably 6 or 7 months (I strum my acoustic now and then but not much) so my "chops" are seriously lacking. That's why I just wanted to do a "one take" on the Bark at the moon recording. I wanted to see how I stacked up after all this time just hitting record and going for it. I'm excited to play guitar again (which is the best gift my wife could give me) so I'll definitely be carving more time out to practice and record. Thanks for the compliment, btw. It means a lot after going so long without playing.

You're welcome. Not surprised one bit that you've been playing for that long. I was really digging the solo and I like how it doesn't sound 100% polished with hundreds of takes. Real gritty which I like. Vocals were good too!

Vocals are stock. Just part of the backing track.

Perry Mason is next right?, gotta get those fingers back in shape.

Great Tune! Actually, my next one is going to be Set the World Afire by Megadeth because that tone is really close but there is so much of that song I've forgotten how to play so I'll have to hit the woodshed a little bit. Next Ozzy song, I think is going to be either Tattoed Dancer or Bloodbath in Paradise (alwasy loved that song).

And you're right, I've gotta get those fingers in shape. Guitar is like golf. You never forget how to play but if you let it get away from you and stop practicing it gets really sloppy really FAST.

Thanks for the feeedback fellas.

Well........you let your wife know we all said thanks for that new toy. That was pretty damn good, IMO. Especially for a cold run.

I liked your sound a little bit better than the original! Could've been the mix........More harmonics. Nice sound.

Your solos/chops were fine. It's a pretty quick meter for 16th's.

I guarantee you this.....Ozzy would've never noticed. ;)

Thanks for the share and.................you should keep sharing. Seriously.
