They keep saying we haven't beat anyone, yet every single pundit maybe besides Skip says we were going to lose and lose big to the Saints. But now the logic is that we beat them, they are no one? Titans did take care of the Chiefs very easily at Arrowhead in week 1 and we were coming off a bad loss traveling to Nashville. Many of these same idiots had us losing that one as well.

Let's take a look at who the Texans beat:

Commanders with RG3 = garbage. No offense to speak off with RG3. Struggled to win at that.
Raiders = on pace to be one of the worst teams in the history of the NFL and will challenge 0-16
Bills = complete frauds with a QB who has no business starting.

So have they talked about their schedule?

And they were losing this game in the 3rd quarter with the Bills driving to go up two scores until Watt's heroics.

When we win .. It has nothing to do with us winning it has to do with the other team losing ... Heck even if we win the next 2 games (even the one in Seattle ) they will still criticize how we won and claim the other teams lost those games and we didn't have anything to do with it .. It's all good though because thats what makes the dallas Cowboys the most loved and most hated NFL team in the world ... I didn't become a Cowboys fan because of what others think ...
Go cowboys !!!

Texans are a solid club so far but that offense is a joke. With Hopkins and Johnson they should be scoring in the air but Fitz is limiting that attack.

I would not even say heroics. The pass was floated and telegraphed right to him by Manuel. Any competent defender makes that play and takes it to the house. Bills still had a chance late, just Manuel and that offense is terrible and could never move the ball.

We can also thank Houston for being the team to jumpstart the Giants. They were a punch line and looked dead in the water until Eli slapped them around.

Now we could easily lose this game and I think it will be a close one. But I'm tired of reading how we have not played anyone, yet Houston has.

Tennessee, Rams and Saints are all 1-3. Yes. But each has a loss against us, though. Which if reversed, they are 2-2. Another reason to point to their records is dumb this early.

When we kick the Texan's arse Sunday I wonder if we will be "legit" then?

Probably not.

There's nothing to argue against. What they're saying is correct. We haven't really beaten anyone. BUt I will say had the Aint's smacked us up not only would they have been 2-2 but people would've said they are a playoff team again.

The quality of opponents the Texans have had isn't much better. And while we were 8-8 last season they were 2-14. So while their opinion of the Cowboys isn't far off.....they sure seem to have a lot of faith in a 2 win team from last year who not only have not beaten anyone but also almost lost to some poor competition. I'm still scratching my head on how the Bills ended up losing that game.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Just saw that. So maybe if Dallas wins Sunday they finally have a "quality" win this season. Although, for some reason I think people will say that "the Texans hadn't beaten anyone and aren't a good team." Just a hunch.

Just beat who is front of you and let chips fall where they may.

That is what will happen if the Cowboys win.

Really irrelevant as they are responsible to beat the next team on the schedule.

I really do not care where on the support spectrum the talking heads fall at this stage.

Wilbon & KornSheister Say Texans More Legit Than Cowboys

On PTI they both said the Texans beat out the Cowboys as the more legit team in Texas because of JJ Watt. Wilbon says the Cowboys havent played anybody and always revert to 8-8.

The Texans are a good team. They are 3-1. You dont go 3-1 in this league without playing good ball. Fiztgerald is a capable quarterback, one that can put up big numbers. No, he is not elite. But yes, he can drop 30+ on you.

Point is, if anyone on Dallas takes this game lightly, Houston will probably win. If both teams play their best ball, Dallas probably has a slight advantage, with home field and the fact that Dallas best running game probably beats Houston's best running defense, and if you run the ball like Dallas has been and dont turn it over you can literally control the game.

I doubt Houston will take this lightly. Who knows if Dallas lays an egg or not.

That would be "Fitzpatrick". And he's streaky at times, takes chances, is good for at least one or two picks a game. He's got that gun slinger approach. He's at his worst when he's behind. Then he's a turnover machine. He may have spent all his emotional energy on Buffalo last week.

Yep. The Titans were 1-0 and at home when they faced us. The Rams were 1-1 and at home. And the Saints are still considered challengers for the South division, which seems like no one wants to claim.

It is a bit silly to say any team hasn't played anyone at this stage of the season. We don't really know which teams are the dominant teams until the middle of the season. I mean, if you looked at the schedule at the beginning of the season, some teams thought the Cowboys were an automatic win. ;)

I saw that.

But they probably thought, as I did, that the Saints were more legit too.

I think a lot of people have a new found respect for the Cowboys but aren't quite ready to believe they are legit.

That's kind of how I feel on it as well.

They're seeing the change in direction from Dallas but they're not ready to jump onto the bandwagon with both feet yet.

I can't blame them.

Ughhhhhh, why even discuss the obvious. These guys know very well who the Texans beat and who there QB is. They also know the Texans have no shot if the Cowboys show up.

Just trying to stir the nest of the largest fan base in the the league is all they are doing.
