Ok, I think most will concede a victory in the last game against St. Louis, so if we can beat Carolina next week (a big if, however they look very beatable these days) and Washington loses one of their final 2 games, we are in.

If Minny wins out I think they get in before us.

I can concede no victory against anybody after today. And we went from the sixth seed to the ninth today.

But you're right - it isn't over - and if we can somehow beat the Panthers in their stadium, we have a very good shot at making it.

There're is no way in hell we beat Carolina. Think about it, if Torrin Tucker made Phillip Daniels look like the next coming off Reggie White. What the hell is Jullius Pepper going to do to him. He's going to have like 15 sack in this game.

What's unacceptable is why the he11 did we have Bledsoe in getting whacked when the game was essentially over.

I think we can win the last 2 game. But we will win them IN SPITE of our offensive line.

I guess in today's NFL anything is possible, but does a team that has lost four of its last five road games and is coming off a 35-7 beatdown have the look of a team poised to steal a road game against a valiant opponent to secure a playoff berth?

Yes, anything's possible, but geez, I would like to have seen a more inspired performance today. Losing is one thing, but losing like that?

I guess all that matters now is Saturday's game.

Negative, as it goes to common games after conference record (which would be the same if we win out). Our common games are New York, St. Louis, Carolina, and Detroit

Both of us beat Detroit

If we win out, we will have both beaten St. Louis

We both have beaten New York (only one game counts, and if we won one thats the game they count)

However, if we win out, we will have beaten Carolina and they lost to Varolina, therefore we have the edge

The Vikings play at Baltimore, then they play the Bears. And the Vikings lost 18-3 today. It's not like we need huge upsets to happen. We just need a few teams to win when they should. (Giants over Commanders, Bears over Vikings and either Bucs or Panthers over Falcons, for example.) The toughest part will be winning our own games (at Carolina, in particular). But if we do win our last two games, the odds are pretty good that we will make the playoffs.

Peppers is the Left DE, Tucker is the RT. They wont be matched up

It's possible. The team is hard to predict.

But Peppers on Tucker/Petitti will probably decide the game

Understood, but i saw some of the carolina game today and Peppers play some on the right side and he did play that position in College. So, if i'm John Fox i would let Peppers kick Tucker *** all day come Saturday afternoon. Plus, i believe Rucker is a better player then Daniel so either way Drew is in for a long day.

IMO, we do just what we did against Philly and Washington (the first time). Go max protect and left Glenn run streak routes

This team doesn't deserve to make the playoffs with the way they've been playing lately.

Agreed, and we can't take stupid penalty and have turnover like today. We gave Washington a short field all game long. That can't happen versus Carolina because basically, they have the same type of offence that Washington has. Play smart football and hope the offence line give you a better effort. If they come out and play a good game even if they lose, then i be happy to know at least this team is heading in the right direction for next season.

Tucker is our LT, Peppers is their LDE so yes, they will be matched up. Pettiti is our RT. I feel bad for Drew. He's in for a VERY long day! If anyone wants to fund their Christmas I suggest betting the house on Carolina! :(
