I do not know if this has already been started here, so I thought I'd ask.

What are your predictions for the first round(Wild Card) of the playoffs?

Here's mine:(ala Frank Caliendo)

the giants will beat the panthers....28-24(panthers are the more inconsistent of the 2)

the bengals will beat the steelers....31-13(defense will cause turnovers all day)

the bucs will beat the skins.....21-13(one word...CADILLAC)

and finally for my upset pick......(drum roll please)..............

JACKSONVILLE WILL BEAT THE PATTIES......17-9(Del Rio will use the fact that it looked as if the pats lost the dolphins game on purpose so they would play them instead of the steelers)

giants over Carolina
Steelers over Bengals
Skins over Bucs
Pats over Jack

No charge for this.

carolina over the gints. and tampa over skins. call it wishful thinking.

Tampa over Skins...Ryan Moats ran pretty well, so Cadillac should have a pretty good day...

Carolina/Giants toss-up. It looks like Carolina has the momentum after thrashing Atlanta handily, but then again, it is horrifically inconsistent.

lol

you mean the same "cadillac" that had 20 yards on 10 carries in the first game when the Commanders' defense didnt have cornelius griffin or sean taylor available? :lmao:

Carolina over Gnats
Skins over Bucs(Cadillac was nonexistant in their 1st meeting @ Bucs stadium)
Jags over Pats( Jags with a healthy Leftwich are pretty damn good, their d will get it done, and their o will finish the job)
Bengals over Steelers(After 2 bad weeks, expect Carson Plamer and co. to have a pretty good day at home vs. Pittsburgh)

Bucs over Skins
Panthers over G-Nats
Pats over Jags
Steelers over Bengals

Ditka- 137
Giants- 6

Coach Ditka plays the game because the Bears' bus breaks down. He allows 2 FG's while using the bathroom and getting a hot dog.

Absolutely. Sarge I can't argue with that.

Bucs over Foreskins-Cant contain Galloway
Panthers over Gints-Steve Smith lights up hurting secondary
Bengles over Squealers-Ben sucks away from home in big games
Pats over Jax-Pats just might run the table with Brady at QB

Skins will crush the Bucs 35-13
Steelers will destroy the Bengals 40-13
Panthers will nip the Giants 20-16
Pats over Jags 13-7

NE will be tough to beat throughout the playoffs. They will play in the afc champ game

I'm not really paying much attention to the AFC part of it, but I don't understand how the Skins can "crush" the Bucs.

The Skins secondary made Reggie Brown look like T.O.'s better half(you know, only the "on-field" part). Joey Galloway should have a big day against the Commanders, especially since Simms is getting more and more experience. Look for Cadillac to have a pretty good day, yes I know he was horrible last game, but the Skins defense was pretty bad against Moats also. However, I don't know how well the Buccaneer D is playing, but I think it should be a close game, with the edge going to the Buccaneers. Unless Gregg Williams makes a great change in the defensive play(which, don't get me wrong, is possible), the Skins should have trouble with Tampa.

Buccaneers > Philadelphia
Buccaneers > Washington

Uh ... Moats had 7 carries for 23 yards. If that's a bad day for the Commander defense Williams is doomed. :) Maybe you're thinking of Perry. He had an ok day. 70 yards on 15 carries.

Collectively the Eagles averaged 3.8 yards a carry and put up less than 100 yards on the ground. Their longest run from scrimmage was 11 yards.

Reggie Brown had a nice first half. Then we adjusted and in the second half he had 3 catches for 22 yards, and the Eagle offense dissappeared.

But really, I find it hard comparing division foes to non-division foes. We could look at the Bucs performance against the 3-13 Saints this past week and make some comparisons too, but that won't work out well for the Bucs. :)

Pats, Carolina, Pitts, and as for the skins game.....

I can't do it.....

The game will depend on how long Springs can stay in....I think if he lasts until half time we can do it.......

I had a bad groin pull and still had to play ....it goes away overnight but comes back after 1 sprint......and thats what happened against the eagles......
