There were a bunch of people here talking this clown up, so I just thought I would reiterate what a terrible player he is.

I think its amazing that people still come on the boards and complain about certain players after a big win. Someone will always have an off game and they need to go check it out on film and fix it. I think our defense was caught off guard that the giants couldn't run the ball honestly and passed as often as they did.

Off guard ? You are so right. I mean nobody could have even thought of the giants being a threat in the passing game.

Come on. Those teams know each other for years. The giants feed off their big play WRs. They were thin on RB and their HC gambled on that position. Everybody knew they had to rely on their passing game. We had two weeks to prepare for it.

Fact is that this is not a big win. Yesterday was just two bad football teams and the luckier one won the game. There is nothing to cheer about.

Matt Johnson, I think next year he will get hurt in off season work outs, in the lunch room.

I'm not sure where the 'he got beat numerous times' comes from. It's a zone defense, so he's not going to see a lot of man-to-man responsibility. He got beat on the Cruz play. Most of the defense was confused as they probably thought that the Giants would not get the snap off. It's one of the things I think teams do poorly in the NFL, using timeouts when they are on defense.

The other Cruz TD it was Zone coverage. The pass rush didn't quite get there and Eli made a great throw between Allen and another defender (I'm thinking it was Webb).

One more thing on Allen.

He is a leader on the team. The guys look up to him in the secondary, he was pulling all the guys together on the sideline and going over everything all night. He also brings an energy we haven't had back there since Keith Davis. He was in the giants players faces all night which was good to see since that is usually what they do to us.

During commercial breaks Allen and nicks were barking at each other all night.

also knocked down a pass down by the goal line. Allen and the defense got burned on the deep ball by Cruz because they were not ready. The players did not have the play in even the lineman were caught off gaurd as they were not set.
