My guess is that Parcells is involved in the process, but the ultimate decision is Jerry's.

I'd imagine that he's talking informally to guys around the league -- i think HCs will be more likely to talk freely with Bill than Jerry.

No, he shouldn't.

Why not? Jerry needs someone influential telling him that Houston Nutt and Dickie Nutt are not good HC candidates. :lmao2:

I said yesterday in another thread not to be shocked if BP has a hand in picking his replacement. Think of the Belicheck and the Jets situation. Givin the opportunity I think BP likees to pick his successor. I also would not be shocked if he believes the team can be special and wants to make sure that the person who comes in doesn't screw this up.

I too believe that Bill might have some influence in this decision. I have absolutly zero proof of this but it just seems like it might make some sense. If so, I keep going back to a conversation Bill had about Mike Tice. He had some pretty good things to say about Tice even after the whole deal in Minnesota. I wonder if he might be considered at all?

I think Bill will have an input but in the end it is on Jerry.

if Tice is named our coach, I'm taking a whole church full of people out before turning the gun on myself

but seriously, Jerry is going to ask for Bill's input, but since he's retired, it will be friendly advice, I don't think BIll is going to be pushing a candidate in Jerry's face, just like someone said, will be informally helping Jerry out in his search and will suggest a couple of names

You wouldn't be a fan of having a TO-ratio? lol...Tice can coach the line.

That Minnesota situation will have to go way cold before Tice gets much of a look. Rght or wrong, it looks like the coach lost some control over the team's behavior, and that perception won't fly here.

Stranger things have happened where Jerra is concerned.
