His career QB rating is average at best, actually I would say a little below average and to top it off he is a career .500 winning QB.
I agree with this.Dale;1135617 said:I maintain the stance I had entering the season: If he leads a team to the Super Bowl as a starter before retiring, I think he'll have a very, very good chance to get in.
Suddenly, he wouldn't be a guy whose poor playoff performances overshadowed his career. And, suddenly, his numbers would look all the more impressive.
But if he doesn't win a SB, then, no, I don't think he'll get in. He looked like a HOFer the first six or so years of his carer. But he's been little more than a floater since 2001 -- and that's a pretty big chunk of his career.

You know quietly he may endure, not in a million years did I think that Warren Moon would get in, he was the biggest stretch of this year's HOF class, he won absolutely nothing, he just played forever. Bledsoe is 34, his stats are top 10 and if he endures he could pull a Moon and because of the precedent be justified for Hall entry. But for sure if Romo got hurt and he came back with fire and led the team to a championship then he would be a Cowboy legend which is far more accurate and important then anything that Canton has to offer.Hostile;1135630 said:I agree with this.
He simply hasn't had a enough of an impact on the game. He hasn't been one of the best QBs of his era and only a Super Bowl win would have given him enough.
Neither was Moon.baj1dallas;1135708 said:It's not about numbers guys. It's about being a dominant player, and he never really was.
