Personally, I will. Even if he gets to 21 or 22. I hope the boys are thinking the same way. He's my pet cat in this draft.

I'd rather trade up for a LT.

There ya go Yeag.
Ive gone back and forth, inside and out, from WR to OL the past few months, and what I keep falling back to is going OL.

You can draw it up any way you want, but IMO, taking an OL with the first pick is the safest pick in regards to immidiate benefit.
There will be Tackles like...

Troy Kopog, OT, Tulane
Fenuki Tupou, OT, OR

sitting in the 40's, that might even slip down even closer to our 51.

If either are within reach, you gotta go up and get one.

No, anybody who thinks this guy will 3 down linebacker in the NFL is fooling themselves.

i think we need to stay in the lower range of the 2nd round, dont go higher than say the 45th pick, would cost to much to move up

now if you could get up there higher in 2nd round with trading a greg ellis or bobby carpenter, while getting a 5th rounder to boot, then go for it, but dont give away our 2nd, 3rd, and 2 4th rounders, we can get good quality players with those picks;

I dont know how to evaluate talent, but this draft doesn't seem like anything special. In fact it strikes me as a weak draft and a great year not to have a first round pick.

Why bother trading up if there isn't a super sure-fire lock of a player available? Seems like a better approach is to churn the roster with our 11 picks and get them all to compete for a job through a tough camp and see who rises to the challenge.

Aw crap, strike that last idea, I forgot we have Captain "no pads" cupcake running the show

Delmas, Robiskie and Robinson still on the board and we take William Moore? :thumbdo:

William Moore's size concerns me so I have no idea how he will turn out in the pros. but Robiskie is so overrated on this site it's comical. he will be nothing more than a #3 in the NFL if he's lucky.

He will never be a number one.

But he is a very polished and NFL-ready WR who would be an instant number two from the second he is drafted.

I would trade up for him in a second and not worry about the number two for the next 6-8 years.

i say trade our number 2 for a boatload of 3-6's. As Tuna said, we need more bodies in camp.

IMHO

We can do that with UDFA if you need more bodies. I would hope we will look for quality over quantity when talking the draft

I will not watch one Cowboy game this year if we take Williams Moore and Delmas is still on the board..seriously..that move is just uncalled for and crossing many many lines.
