I love Maualuga at ILB and yes, I'd try to trade up if he dropped down some. He's got the attitude we need on defense.

Won't happen though. He'll go way too high for us to draft him.

No way I'd take Moore over Delmas, BTW. I don't think the Cowboys would either. They supposedly love Delmas.

I think Moore could be had in the third round, if we want him.

Im really liking where Tupou might be sitting saturday.
If he falls past 43, Im all for putting a package together to get up a few spots to get a star on his helmet.

Fenuki Tupou

Height: 6-6 | Weight: 314 | Position:OT | College: Oregon

In 24 games at Oregon, Tupou started 22 times, logging action in 1,693 plays … Registered 159 knockdowns, 25 touchdown-resulting blocks and 11 downfield blocks … Was penalized just once in two seasons … Allowed just two quarterback pressures and 2.5 sacks on 786 pass plays.

Wow 2.5 sacks on 786 pass plays? impressive.

He will never be a number one.

But he is a very polished and NFL-ready WR who would be an instant number two from the second he is drafted.

I would trade up for him in a second and not worry about the number two for the next 6-8 years.

If they're gonna trade up, they're better off doing it for a S or OT.

There are quality LBs, Wr's, RB's in rounds 4-7. A good safety is hard to find. Same for OT. Take the OT or Safety with first 2-3 picks.

Drew Boylhart (thehuddlereport.com) loves this guy. He thinks he's one of the best OLmen in the draft. He doesn't think Fenuki can be an OT, but he thinks he has probowl ability as a LG. In fact, he thinks Fenuki will impact immediately, and will be a probowl LG the 1st day he suits up. If we don't get him in the 2nd round, I'm hoping for Herman Johnson in the 4th. An interior of Johnson, Gurode, and Davis would be fearsome.

For inside linebacker R. Manuluga? If he gets this far down in the draft.

The Boys will not trade up into the first round... they might trade up to about pick 40, but that will be as far as they go...

And I don't think that any tradeup scenarios they're developing would involve Rey... he might be your pet cat, but I've seen no indications that they have interest in him...

I will not watch one Cowboy game this year if we take Williams Moore and Delmas is still on the board..seriously..that move is just uncalled for and crossing many many lines.

SLATE, you're in danger of going beyond being a fan, to being a groupie...

Personally, if I had the choice between Moore and Delmas, I'm jumpin' all over Moore...

That was a stupid observation the first time you made it... it didn't get any smarter when you repeated it...

Roy Williams and William Moore are two very different safeties... if you don't know that, you have lost all credibility as a draftnik...

And once again, Moore weighs 221 pounds, not 230...

he'll be 230+ by december and getting burnt just like Bambi Williams. Jerry ain't even thinking about drafting him.

I'd rather trade up for a LT.

So would I but I don't see us having the ammo this year to do it. Next year it could be a priority.

Do you see a way to do it this year?
