Just like the title says, do you think they ever will be? I know its gonna be harder for moose to get in but still he was a great and a huge fan favorite! should count for something.

Deion, yes, Moose no.

Moose will be the modern-day Chuck Howley.

Disagree about Moose..

I never saw Howley play, but from what I've heard, he's a bonafide HOFer who absolutely should be in the Hall.

Can't say the same about Moose, tho he's definitely one of my fav players.

Moose is not a Hall of Famer, but Deion is a 1st ballot guy.

Deion's a first ballot. Moose won't be simply because the stats aren't there. It's not easy for a true FB to get into the hall - even a guy like Mike Allstott will never be there.

If I had a vote I'd vote yes on Moose and no on Sanders. But I'm biased on both and it will likely go the other way around.

If they ever do let Allstott in they better let the Moose in! In my mind Moose is a HoF not that what I think matters though in regard to voters. We don't win any superbowls in the 90s without him and Emmitt isn't the all time rusher without him. To me he was a catalyst for NFL history in those two ways. Also, he did SO MANY little things for the Cowboys that went unnoticed if HoF voters really know football like they think they do they'll put Moose in someday.

I didn't say he should not be in the HOF.
Did I?
If I did, point it out.

Moose will be the modern-day Chuck Howley because no matter how much Cowboy fans like him, he doesn't pass muster in the HOF selection vetting.
That's all.
But, again, I really do not recall saying CH did not belong. It's just that he won't get it and neither will Moose and that his their link.

Good grief. They judge RB's together not separate really. So its carries and yards that get you in for FB's and HB's.

Not being a bulldozer grunt that got Emmit his yards.

Deion could shut down half the field on his own, was a great kick returner and played receiver. No one else does that.

That being said, I'd love to see Moose in the HOF. He blocked like no one else and could also catch passes. Truth be told and no disrespect to Emmitt, would Emmitt have reached the milestone he has without Moose?

Moose goes in too.

Deion absolutely.....Moose maybe , he is loved by the mediots and they do alot of the voting and they did create the FB position in the Pro Bowl for him...he ran in front of the all time leading rusher .being the first ever FB to make pro bowl may mean something.....i guess it could be argued either way...but i hope he does...one of my all time favs

Moose may be well-liked by Cowboy fans, but I doubt you'll find many thinking he should be in the HOF. That's my point.

Based on the old-timer fan's view, Howley is a guy who should be in HOF. He ranked right up there with Bob Hayes as a guy who's been shunned by the voters. Every year we get threads on here about how he should go.

You won't find many fans outraged by Moose's lack of consideration for the Hall.

Moose is not a Hall of Famer, .

If they judge him as a "running back" Moose don't stand a chance...but if by chance they judge him by how important he was to his team...than his chances improve
