Jerry firing MM would be a sure sign he has realised time is not on his side to win another super bowl.

Sadly, JG got a decade, MM very likely gets another year or two......... or three.
Jerry firing the GM would be a sign the he realised the real problem with this franchise over the last 27 years, but we know that's not happening.

You can’t sell the same thing to the fans.

McCarthy has had 2 awful seasons.

He was awful in year 1 and in year 2 beat all of the bad teams and lost to all of the good teams.

Nobody had an answer for the 2 high safeties starting with Denver.

Your fan base needs hope and if your answer is we’re just going to line up and do it all over again then you can forget about next season.

Results look like he was already coaching.

If he were to promote Moore, he is openly announcing a complete rebuild.
not in his mind..... Jerry wants control back. have say in the team and the scheme, etc......he can't much control McCarthy, but he can easily control Moore. he has done so in the past. Jerry wants credit for finding a genius coach. be given credit for his find and his success. Jerry lives in fantasy football land.

Getting a new offense would be a start. I’ve watched this offense far too long. 10 years and going strong. #1 in points and #1 in total offense…..what a mirage.

Personally, I think there is a good chance Jerry might fire MM within the next few days.
Moore is working with a tier 3 QB and is very limited in his play selection.

Here's hoping. "So let it be written, so let it be done!"
