Love the guy and what he has given the team, but lets face it, he is not worth his contract.

This decision is more important, IMO, than the coaching decisions. Hopefully, paying Ratliff 18M and Spencer 10.6M for not playing this season has Jerry in the mindset to get away from paying for past production and paying big money for non-QB players over 30.

It would be an easy decision for most NFL teams. All football logic indicates that he should be cut.

Ware is Jerry's "proof" that he knows how to draft talent. After all, he did override Bill(allegedly) to get him. Ware will go down with the ship and in no way does Jerry ship his claim to fame out IMO.

Agreed. This is clearly a crossroads business decision with the GM and the player. If the GM does nothing and Ware gets paid then this is the equivalent of the Lakers extending Kobe.

Troy could not play anymore. Emmitt was only gone because Parcells always cleans house of vet guys that may challenge him. Ware will get a 5 year extension
