Start him against the Saints. If he stinks it up, Cassel should have a decent grasp on the playbook against the Patriots.

Weeden was not the problem. We can't run the ball (second half) which means we can't play defense. Help is on the way.
Why do you think we couldn't run the ball in the second half? Think about it for a bit and then get back to me.
Who can run a deep route on this team?

If we are gong to do dink and dunk football, Moore is your guy. I'm not a fan of Moore, but Moore isn't a moron either. He would never make the stupid decisions Weeden makes.
Give me the QB that is more likely to play mistake free football. That's not Weeden.
Moore hasn't attempted a single regular season pass and he's the one you want to help keep the Cowboys afloat until Romo returns? You honestly believe he's less likely to make a mistake? LOL
Then why is he on the team? Why was he backing up Weeden?
When does he get a start? When does he get his first regular season debut? If you never want to see him on the field, you might as well have suited Cassel up even with the lack of knowledge with our offense.
Less likely to make mistakes? I don't see Kellen Moore, or really, many other QBs in this league throwing balls straight to DBs. Weeden has a gunslinger mentality, difference being, he only gives you the mistakes that come with gunslingers.
Give me the intelligent QB that has been developing under our OC for a few years now.
He's an emergency QB, at best.
We have to start a quarterback next week who will throw the ball to the wide receivers. That really isn't asking much, when you think about it.
