Richard could easily jump to HC like Tomlin did.

Lol. I bet you won't recieve a reply to that comment.I’ve been a fan since 76. And I don’t remember Sean being bashed. And if so, when has Jerry ever let the fan’s opinions sway his decisions?
no his first step is to become the DC..Marinelli most like steps down ie retires or they move Marinelli to just an AHC to give KR the title alone , hat should keep him to continue develop an unfinished product.. Garetts not going anywhere if we make the playoffs but SL and Moore should be gone and KR should get promoted to DC..Clearly, Kris Richard is making a name for himself. If we as fans are noticing, I assure you NFL teams will do so too. The 'Boys must keep Richard on the team. They shouldn't let him walk after he's played such an important role in the performance of one of the best defenses in the NFL today.
If the 'Boys are to keep him though, leaving him at his current job will surely not be enough. We're talking about a guy who'll be getting a lot of phone calls once the season is over. Some of those calls will probably be for defensive coordinator openings and some might be about head coach openings.
Jerry hit the ball out of the park by acquiring Richard. Let's see if he'll announce the "big splash" by hiring Richard as the new HC at the end of the season. If so, this team will be going to the SB very soon.
his fire and passion that balances the mild mannered JG and SL, he seems to also be a better hands on player training during practice and in between plays during games and yes hes for sure played big part in more aggressive play calling on defense etc..How about letting him get a few years under his belt as dc. I do like his fire. Bet he would let you know if you screwed up....and fast. Jimmy would cut your butt by morning if the screw up was game deciding.
Garrett isn't going anywhere I can guarantee you that.
Don't know that he wants HC right now, if at all. Hope he stays here as DC and we'll see how it goes from there. He has been calling the defensive plays lately with Marinelli's support. I think Rod retires soon if not after this season. He sure had some fire on the sidelines during the Saint's game.Well, the coaching jobs tend to go to the guys with the hot hands. I hope he stays in Dallas.

Only way Richard becomes Cowboys head now is a Garrett resignation ( move to FO ).
Truth is stranger than fiction. Wouldn't surprise me in the least. That resignation will be rejected by Jerry , and will have a counter offer of a 5 year extension ; with the immediate firing of Kris Richard .
That's EXACTLY why Jerry can make a "big splash" during off season. If he doesn't promote Richard & fire Garrett, it will be a very long time before someone half decent will come around again to be Jerry's puppet. That resignation will be rejected by Jerry , and will have a counter offer of a 5 year extension ; with the immediate firing of Kris Richard .
If Greenbay wants to interview Kris Richard , you can bet he will not be here in the end of the season .

Will Kris Richard’s Success End Garrett’s Era in Dallas?
.

Garrett is like a cock roach and will survive the Nuclear and/or Zombie Apocalypse...
Kris and JG will be co-HCs. Kris will control the D and JG will control the offense. JG gets timeouts in first half Kris in second half and they each get one challenge. If they need a tie breaker in a decision it will go to Stephen. Jerry will look like a genius for coming up with this great plan.
