Will Lions OL be as soft as the Bucs?

We looked to good to be true Sunday night for the defensive line to put that much pressure on Winston. Are we that good man-on-man now or is the scheming getting better.

Lions Oline is better, but it's not a big strength of theirs or anything. Dallas might have some trouble getting to Stafford because he gets the ball out quicker than Winston, but the Dline is getting hot at the right time. The only good Oline Dallas might play in the playoffs is the Commanders or Falcons, so I'm not expecting the Dline to get shut down much anymore.

Ah yes I forgot about them. I'm really hoping they get matched up with the Giants in the first round. Seattle, Green Bay, and New York are the 3 teams that I think can beat Dallas in the playoffs. Would be huge to be able to knock out one of those early.

I think detroit is similar up front and they have there center banged up. If Dallas hogs the ball again and the building is loud like last night then anyone that comes in here is going to struggle.

I really think the stadium and the noise affected that offense in the 4th quarter. It hurt the offensive line and Dallas really played to it. The players seemed to love it during the fourth quarter.

That is the reason why you don't want to play in seattle so it is nice for a change to be doing it to there people.

Lions defense had better not be built on speed like Tampa. That was not a good matchup against Dallas.

They don't have a top 30 rusher, but I suspect their pass blocking is good though - since Stafford is 7th in passing yards.

Let's put this a different way. With all the DL players we now have on the roster, who would you have as first rotation DL and who would be on the second rotation DL. We have seen improvement these last few games but not with all players available.

It was a pretty pathetic display after hearing so much about how good they had been playing. They were just way too soft and light to handle the big boys up front. Just outmanned.

Both Lion tackles are susceptible to being beaten by speed rushers (Taylor Decker and Riley Reiff are maulers, but not laterally quick). Stafford does a very good job of keeping plays alive, and throws from some unorthodox angles, and keeps the sack totals down as a result. The Lions will cause the defense some issues in the passing game, but they are awful at running the ball.

The Lions have been lucky this year. That changed with having NY and Dallas in consecutive weeks.

As long as Stafford is still hurt, the Lions are in big trouble.
He's much better than Winston, but maybe not with a screwed up finger on his throwing hand.

This is a huge game for Detroit, with GB nipping at their heels.
I'd expect their best effort...but it won't be enough:flagwave:
