My point was that moving up did not cost them a ransom like you implied. 2 of those picks were from traded players they were moving from. Eagles front office is light years ahead than Dallas.

Even if we wanted to move up it would have cost us at least that amount of picks, no matter how you want to spin it. The Eagles did a great job of making other deals to recoup some of those picks, it's doubtful this FO could have done that and we would be even further behind. It's easy to say after the fact we could have just done this or that. We could have had Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Russell Wilson, Antonio Brown, Kareem Hunt, Alvin Kamara etc and not spend any extra picks either. The woulda coulda game is really easy with the benefit of hindsight.

Agree, the egirls make a trade and they win, we make one and it sets us back 2 years. We need a real GM playing the role.
