What do you think? And why?

Listen..I'll just settle for Romo having the best won-loss record in the NFL.

The rest would take care of itself.

I really don't care whether he leads the league or not..just so he leads the Division, then the Conference then the SB.

He can do that and pass for 500 yrds for all I care.

Just my personal view..sorry.

Int % 1.2 and the rest will take care of itself for the most part. He needs RZ success rate and good scoring rate.

I honestly hope not. I hope we're able to establish the run this year, which will cause Romo's passing yards to take a hit but his passing efficiency will increase. I think he'll have a year similar to his 2011 season, but with more touchdowns due to our recently added weapons. At least that's what I'm hoping for!

Hope not, probably means Demarco and the running backs didn't do their jobs.

I don't think so. I really think that there is going to be more focus on balance and running the ball more effectively. My hope is that we are more balanced this year. Can he do it? Yes, but I don't think that is what anyone wants here.

I actually hope he doesn't. Because it could imply that the Cowboys are losing in many games, and therefore need to throw the ball in order to catch up.

Man, I hope not. Last year's one-dimensional offense was so hard to watch.

This. Because they keep harping on running the ball and making the offense more balanced to take some of the pressure off Romo having to do everything himself. If he is throwing for big yards, most likely it is a replay of last year. Trailing by double digits most the games and we go into pass happy mode. That is where Romo got tons of his yards last year.

I really hope he does not lead the league in passing yards.
He's having to do way too much on his own already--and opposing teams know it.

Give me a run game much better than 31st and I'll gladly give back a chunck of those air yards.
That alone will most likely help our redzone offense, turnover ratio, and won-loss record.

Can't see it happening with Brees and Stafford around. Those guys will throw four passes starting with first and goal on the one-yard line...

I hope for more production in the run game so that the offense is not having to throw the ball an avg of 41 times a game. I expect Romo to have a good year but right now more TD and fewer Ints are the only 2 things I'm interested in stat wise from Romo.

Not only is it better for just us if Romo doesn't have the most passing yards, no one wants their QB to lead the league in passing yards. You don't want your quarterback shouldering the entire load.

No Quarterback has had the most passing yards in a season and won the superbowl in the same year.

In fact, since 2002, only two quarterbacks who finished in the top 5 for passing yards won the superbowl... the Manning Brothers (2006,2011).

I predict a 4400 yd 33 td 13 int year for Romo and would be very happy with that. (and as others said, Brees will once again lead all because of that pass happy offense)

As others have pointed out, if Romo has the 5,000+ yards; that's not likely a good sign. It probably means we've been behind a lot in games, and it would mean that we're probably not in the playoffs. What would most likely mean the Cowboys made the playoffs is if Romo has something like 4,200-4,500 yards, with obviously a good TD-INT ratio.
