Will Romo run for TD or 1st Down when needed?

You mean the last few games where he broke his collarbone, came back too early, and then broke his collarbone again? Yeah, that's a realistic comparison.

I actually think its a perfect comparison. Romo came back the first game of 2015 from an injury and was rusty. That is probably exactly how he is going to play if he comes back this time. And it showed in the Giants game that fist game. Didnt play up to Romo standards. Then he came back again and played horribly against the Dolphins. Again, rusty, injured, old, ect...ect... Then played horrid again against Carolina before he got hurt. 2.5 games of old, injured, rusty Romo.

What Romo do you think you are going to get if he comes back this year in a few games?

-Old, rusty, coming off injury Romo

Or

-completely healthy, not coming off injury , no rust, two years younger, best season in his life Romo

Just sayin. What are the odds? Which guy are you more likely to see? OR do we see a guy in between?

He was still injured. What part of that don't you understand?

And he was not bad against the Giants.

We have dumb fans who will be crying into their pillow when Romo is starting.

If a rusty Romo can go 3-1 in the games he started on a team that went 1-11 without him I'll take that any day.

Ummm.............He is 5-1 and you want to talk about how he missed a few open receivers. Yah, that is nit picking. Its also a bit unappreciative of what this kid has done.

Not unappreciative at all. Just pointing out that although he has been very good, he has not been perfect. He has made a few mistakes each game, and the cowboys are fortunate that his mistakes have not cost the team anything as of yet. It's part of his learning curve, and I have no doubt he will eventually get past this rookie commonality.

I can already point to one instance of him missing a receiver, which had a direct impact on the final result of the game. Opening week against the Giants… On that final two minute drive, he misses a wide-open Dez Bryant on the left side line for what most likely would have been an easy touchdown. At the very least, Dez goes out of bounds somewhere around the giant 20 yard line. Field-goal range… And what was the Giants margin of victory?

Like you said, right now in the grand scheme of things, it's not a big deal. But six or seven weeks from now, with the cowboys are playing for home-field advantage, that one game might be end up having a huge effect.

36 of 45, 358 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs (one of which was a deflection off of Witten's hands).

I would settle for that kind of "rusty" all day long.

The other int hit Street right in the hands.

Not perfect? Interesting theory.

Lucky that his NON perfection has NOT cost us any games? Even more interesting.

Playing for home field? You can thank Dak if we are playing for home field. Him and his imperfect games.
