The Eagles must beat the 7-8 Falcons ...

Atlanta Falcons' Loses:
Saints 23 - 3
Giants 24-17
Lions 30-14
Browns 17-13
Ravens 24-10
Saints 31 - 13
Cowboys 38 - 28
Panthers 10 - 3

The Cowboys must beat the 2-13 Lions ...

Detroit Lions' Loses:

ATLANTA FALCONS 30-14.................................................................
SAN FRANCISCO 49ers 19-13.............................................................
Arizona Cardinals 17-10....................................................................
MIAMI DOLPHINS 27-10...................................................................
New England Patriots 28-21 .............................................................
MINNESOTA VIKINGS 30-20 .............................................................
Green Bay Packers 17-9 .................................................................
CHICAGO BEARS 26-21 ...................................................................

An Eagles win or Dallas loss would give the Eagles their fifth NFC East title in six years.

The Cowboys destiny in their own hands ...and in the hands of the Eagles. If both teams lose (which is unlikely) the Eagles have the 2006 title. That said, the Lions become a very dangerous entity on the road to the playoffs.

Dude we clinched a wild card spot two weeks ago.

We are at least the 5 seed tomorrow. We still could win the east, if atlanta wins.

We clinched a playoff birth a couple weeks ago.

Trust me, if we were playing for a playoff spot and played like we did against the Eagles, this board would have exploded.

I know because I would have blown up the interwebs.

The Cowboys clinched already.

PT, lay off the egg nog and champagne.

Much to our dismay the Cowboys have clinched a spot. But we can still root against them.

I've got playoff tickets if the Falcons win :)

You know it sure would be nice to see the Falcons stick it to the iggles. They're going up there and playing without Crumpler though. Vick will probably amass more rushing yards than passing yards.

Just my luck.

For what its worth, I think this will be a closer game than I would like tonight win or lose. And for once, I hope I am wrong.

Ha, ha, ha, ha Lol! :) Actually I just took a sip of egg nog and rum ...I'm toasting to a Commanders win tonight!

I'll take your advice and push away from the egg nog table. All I'm saying is that the Cowboys have a better chance of beating the Lions than the Eagles have against the Falcons. The Lions are the new Texans! That said, the Cowboys cannot win the Title unless the Eagles lose.

I'm not rooting against the Cowboys ...I'm rooting for the Lions!

Look for Stalworth, Westbrook, Buckhaulter, Smith, DawKins, Shepard, and Garcia as playmakers in tomorrow's game.

Aside from Betts, who else do you think will step up in tonight's Game?

You have nothing to worry about. You have already won the east. Atlanta is going to get run over. I am not even sure they will be competitive for a full quarter. After the first incompletion or three and out this team may pack it up and fire up the bus for the offseason.

That sound good ...especially coming from a Cowboy's fan. But no way will the Eagles take this game lightly. I almost never predict numbers, but I will predict that the Eagles will either maul the Falcons or tweak out a win in an offensive shoot-out.

I remember the first game this season for the Eagles - we played the Houston Texans. After our win against the Texans, everyone kept saying that it was a meanigless game because the Texans were such an underdog.

Be careful about the underdog Lion ...they have nothing to lose, and they know they have an opportunity to make their season just a little more meaningful by disallowing the mighty Cowboys from the possibility of gaining the NFC-East Title (provided the Eagles are beaten).

An Eagles a loss ...a Cowboys loss is an upset! Bottm line is a loss is a loss; the Eagles are definitely looking for the WIN, and will run the score off the scoreboard if given the opportunities!

I'm not challenging you football savvy ...but, I thought there's a formula for the NY Giants to get into the playoffs. No offense, just asking.

Anyone?

Yes, there's a possibility that Philadelphia, New York, and Dallas can all 3 be in the playoffs.

Dallas, however, has already clinched a playoff spot.

A NY Giant victory tonight against the Commanders will almost assure them of a playoff spot.

The Rams would need some really weird combination of things to happen on Sunday for them to get the spot instead of the G-men.

If I understand it correctly, most of the other teams need the Giants to lose tonight.
