Honest, I dont think anyone knows where we stand right now. I think you can look at it two ways
1. The last couple weeks have meant nothing and with injuries, clinching everything early and having no real big games in about 6 weeks the Cowboys have hit cruise control. With that being said, in the playoffs we will turn it back on and be dominate once again.
2. Our December downsizing has started again. Guys on our team are starting to wear down and in doing so their play has leveled off. Guys like Flozell, Columbo, Davis, Henery, Teeo , and Jones to name a few. With their sudden drop in play other guys are not picking up the slack. Guys like Hurd, Austin, Reeves, and Roy Williams hasnt played well in a while.
Making two long stories short I dont know the actual answer to this. I dont think anyone does. Lets all hope for one. I can say that the Eagles have won like 4 straight I beileve to close out the season, the Skins were fighting for their lives and Carolina was a more formidal opponet then people think when they beat Seattle, the 3 seed, the previous week. At the same time our team doesnt have that flow any more they had up till the Packer game. In closing, I would like to say the postives are we have a week of rest and to prepare. The negative is the guy that makes our offense go will probably be 60-70 percent. He will play no matter how hurt he is. Even if he cant run they will have him stand out there to take coverage with him. Who are the 07 Cowboys now? Does anyone know?
