Is there anyone of defensive line that looks to be a late season improvement? Hope for pressuring QB?

No matter what time of year it is and how dire the circumstances, these guys can't play.

I hardly doubt any of these DEs have been saving up just to unleash terror just because of the stakes involved. They are not good enough, just that simple. Try again next year.

I think if they just want to get to the QB more than they have so far, if they play with more heart, if they use their toughness and grit and gumption and moxy, they'll start racking up sacks at a tremendous rate. If that doesn't happen, well, then we know that attitude is the problem with this group.

They are all still sitting.

All our DE's are backups.

If that doesn't happen, well, then we know that attitude is the problem with this group.

Heart can only get you so far...talent is a big problem with this group, at least on the ends. The same theme has persisted throughout the season...namely, lack of sacks and consistent pressure. The Dallas d-line is what it is at this point. The 2011 version of Demarcus Ware would come in REAL handy right now.

Or they use their toughness, grit, gumption and moxie to their fullest, but it cannot compensate for the lack of quickness, skill, power and speed.

Yeah I was hoping DLaw had enough games under his belt by now.

Melton had a big sack towards end of game a few weeks ago. It kept them from scoring anything and we came back and won.

Hopefully Lawrence shows something, otheriwse he is a replacement for Selvie next year?

Can't help but think Melton thinks he will be playing somewhere else next year and is protecting himself from injury. He has gone off the radar. Rumors of him being inactivated speaks loudly of him not being here next year.

The fact we cannot replace Hayden as a starter is not a good sign.
