Does Mincey count?????
It's getting to that time where it's win and you are in, that time where, once in you want to make a run.
Is there anyone of defensive line that looks to be a late season improvement? Hope for pressuring QB?
We didn't have a pass rushing DE going into the season. It's foolish to think someone is going to step up. The good news is that we have some good players at DT. Mincey plays really hard, but he just isn't that good.
That contract........Ware with one arm and one leg would be the best pass rusher on this team by far.
That contract........
Even Aikman has (somewhat silently) accused Jones of being a sunshine-pumper. Some of the local media might be pretty guilty themselves.
I understand it was a money decision, but from a talent stand point it was a huge mistake to let Ware walk out the door...................we are one of the worst pass rushing teams in the entire league.
Our team leader in sacks...............Melton at DT............5 sacks
If you just count DEs, the same position Ware played..................Mincey leads all DEs with a fantastic 3 sacks..............LMAO
In the entire NFL, there are only 3 teams that have fewer sacks than Dallas (19 sacks overall)............Oakland with 18.................Atlanta and Cinci both with 15
Its week 15 bro..............if you got no pass rush at this point, it is what it is...........................aint no calvery coming to the rescue.
Relying on a rookie to provide the majority of your pass rush was just a dumb arse idea from the start...................Ware with one arm and one leg would be the best pass rusher on this team by far.
I still think Lawrence could step up.
Blitz McClain up the middle and use a DB off the edge. It's worth a shot and it would force all three interior lineman to take on the 1 & 3 techs and McClain. Maybe the isolation will help our 3T out in having to beat out one blocker vs two.
Blitzing McClain out of this scheme is suicidal without stronger coverage from the middle safeties. Won't happen.
I want to believe that, but I would have hoped we would have seen a few more flashes by this point. Again, he has played basically what amounts to an exhibition season and has been injured again since coming off of IR. Not giving up at all, but I think it is difficult to assume that he will suddenly switch on and become half of what we need to generate a real rush.

Didn't we see some flashes already? I remember someone talking about it...

Clearly this is not the 85 Bears this pass rush overall has been poor, however there have been games were we at least had good pressure and they will have to apply pressure on Sanchez. If that means throwing more blitz at Philly then do what you have to do to shake Sanchez up.
